Here to point out Haily Stevens is running for the Senate seat being vacated by Gary Peters from Michigan. This must be stopped!

Realized after reading your post that is why I can't even do audio with my coffee before I shower. The stimuli is to much. Yet, often I enjoy a well done video essay in the evening.

There are like five conservative social media apps, including one run by the president of the United States, and it’s weird how we never get a Washington Post editorial about how divisive and unwelcoming they are.

Seems like the suppression of the violence was way more violent then any violence I saw perpetrated by the protesters.

Hope Megan realizes that there are a lot of "liberal causes" the people on Blue Sky think should fail. And also, don't know anyone who came here to "remake" twitter.

Great line, Great delivery, with the strong "T" and followed by the hard "F" of fascism. Good bumper sticker material. "Tastes Like Fascism"

If the regime is trying to throw gas on a fire I think having a red state governor allow Trump to send their troops to a blue state would be a good way to do that.

I am sure when those kids volunteered they were cleared headed about the prospect of raging war against civilians in their own country.

You gotta wonder - how many tanks does one Nazi parade need?

One woman holding an American flag, shouting at federal agencies here in Paramount, CA. Still lots of chemical munitions, pepper balls, foam batons.

When politicians stand in public and tell their constituents that "they all going to die" it's because they are confident the militarized police state is going to keep them in power. When the opposition sits quietly when that happens, it's because they think that too.

Whenever I think of a AI therapy I think about 60-70 SF where a couple of novels had them in the plot but in The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch by Philip Dick the purpose of the AI therapy was to make the main character mentally unstable so he could avoid being forced to colonize Mars.

Seeing the term "morbidly rich" for the first time and I think it's great. It fits well with a observation I saw on youtube that ketamine is not that expensive.

Any congressional or high ranking state Dem should be put on the spot about this at every opportunity.

To paraphrase another poster in a similar thread. Why isn't he working hard to stop the Big Ugly Bill rather than finger wagging at people on social media. Isn't that what congressmen are suppose to do.

When people start talking about Federal Revenue from tariffs Dems need to point out that its a tax increase on Middle class Americans.

As Jack White puts in the the White Stripes' song Icky Thump, now often rebranded as Icky Trump, - "You can't be a Pimp and a Prostitute too."

The people encouraging, approving of, and deploying this strategy don't have a material relationship with food, shelter, or medical care. They are rich and/or powerful enough that those things are just a given — no scarcity or sacrifice for them. So it's just fodder for memes that are off-putting.

It's good and important to report people who are shocked that the president they voted for is deporting the neighbor they like that he said he would deport. A party interested in winning would find a narrative for these voters that isn't just "we'll do deportations better" because then you've lost.

Trump promised to deport 15 to 20 million people. They thought they were all going to be single men? They were mislead because nobody mentioned moms? I agree that the press could have been a lot better. But Trump voters either knew, or should have known.

But the GOP correctly identified that much of the support for trans rights among Democrats was insincere lip service, and used this to highlight the thing the public dislikes about Dems - that they'll say whatever they think you want to hear and have no core values or beliefs.
