then it'll an easy race :D

probably not, though with the way things are going, Dems could put up a box of wet bricks and still win
one of the major deciding factors in the 2024 election was the economy, and you'd only need to peel off ~4% of the vote to render a party incapable of winning

not really, you gave the version of events you prefer were true, "the answer is simple, all the people I don't like are at fault, everyone I like is blameless, and I continue to never have been wrong in my life"

so that was a no to the honest look at what when wrong then heh

the ones who suggested dem leadership and trump were functionally the same? I do agree it's past time for glib comments
an honest look at what went wrong and why is likely a good start, assuming we want to solve the problem

it's possible the bleeding can be stopped if something goes wrong drastically and legibly enough to sway public opinion, but there is no going back to the world we knew

emotionally I'm getting there, it's all maddening
but that doesn't solve the problem, even with key leaders magic wanded away, the rot remains, the public mind which was hijacked can be so again
it may be that this project has failed, I don't think any system tolerates every actor being bad faith

maybe I'll try to put together some more coherent thoughts later, and there's still a 4th movie to watch...

- pacing (most of the character relationships feel forced, eerie tone is harmed)
- use of modern tropes & gimmicks, in dialogue, narrative and visuals (e.g. the piano scenes with kaoru)

some things that I don't think they did as well:
- music (the use of canon in d dur, and joy to the world were moving and memorable, nothing in these movies has been as much so)
- visual element changes (e.g. unit 01's arm being glowy instead of weirdly normal and human)

those things were fun and an important part of the original series, but it's missing out on the human elements, the tone & aesthetic, which made the show so compelling

a bit like george lucas with the prequels, it feels like like they didn't understand what made the series good to begin with, instead focusing on big battles, increasingly cryptic lore, & fan service

agreed re: your listed items (though I find cleaning the bidet rather annoying lol)
I'd add a decent backpack with pockets and places to hook things on to, and rug pads for comfort, keeping in place, and minimizing mechanical stress to hopefully improve longevity

and someone appreciates my achievement :)
(had to look up 'wapa', which is apparently a slang spelling for guapa)

by whenever you left the damage was already done, clearly
good luck, remember to look at something far away once in a while

yeah, we could do this but I can already tell it's going to be boring and pointless, you can get your fill of grandstanding elsewhere; some of you didn't leave twitter soon enough I think

is there actually evidence fuentes was involved?
but anyway no, I don't think attacking people for their sexuality is good even if you really really don't like them, and that's all I've seen happen

it's a joke, not a statement of genuine intent, and there's more than that one movie (if I had to guess, I'd expect this meme to have originated with the Christopher Nolan joker?)
comment in response to
post
take it up with the collective consciousness then, "I'm going to become the joker [over frustrating thing]" is an established meme, it's really just "I'm gonna lose it"

feels a bit weird people are inventing fanfiction so they can join in the dog pile
as far as I can tell, the "bad thing" that happened in those leaks was "being a bi man"
comment in response to
post
it's a modestly old meme, if you're unfamiliar with the source material: the joker is a comic book villain who turns to homicide/sociopathy over his dissatisfaction with the state of society
in this case, required participation in group projects are our faults in society, and posting our murder :)

fwiw your traffic is already encrypted due to https, using a VPN is worth it to obscure traffic from your ISP
also, depends on the use case but most of the time you want to be on whatever the most popular service is, not stand out from the crowd and all that

I have some vague memories of this being mentioned in the federalist papers?

anyway I hope the ethics committee releases their report, the maga people will cry persecution but better to have those things in the public record

it makes sense without there being nefarious intentions imo, a high profile case against a house member should probably be very solid
like I disagree with Garland's waiting for two years to go after trump, but I can understand why he did it

west side story?
comment in response to
post
unfortunately yes, it's a hard type of case to prove, plus, like someone else said, I think the Garland DOJ was worried about the optics of a non-slam-dunk case

there should be a median voter who says they're 49% convinced that holes are a necessary component of a boat
