He never cared. He is a liar and manipulator. I’m sorry to say - government aid is a thing of the past.

It feels like the regime WANTS people to die.

Attack musk’s and trump’s wealth as well as that of their evil minions.

Like you, I’m not a lawyer. Just speculating.

It’s a rolling window. Whatever was reported is obsolete in a week. Forcing him to rush sounds like it would work against him.
And I suspect “I was fired by a machine” would raise some red flags in the courts.

Speaking of not putting a dime toward non-essentials, is there grounds for not paying taxes until the federal and state governments stop the sabotage?

It also makes me believe that it may be possible to make up anything - AI is notoriously gullible.

It sounds like he is planning to use AI to “read” all those emails - there is no way a human will get through all that - and have the machine decide who stays and goes. People should be requiring him to provide detailed written explanatio

Of course, I may be wrong, but insisting on him providing written justifications for each and every cut could expose this.

It sounds like he’s going to use AI to analyze the firehouse of responses and have the machine make the decision on who stays and who goes.
How do people feel that computers may be making government decisions?

ejecting this regime will not magically undo everything they've changed. responsible government will move 10-100x slower to fix each and every program, control, regulation will be broken for a long time. The longer the regime holds power and breaks things, the longer America's future will be hard

And this is why time is not on the side of the people. Every day the regime continues to work to stack things in its favor.

So much for cutting costs.
Is no one else concerned that if something happened to Trump, then Vance would assume the presidency? We bash trump and musk plenty, but Vance is one scary extremist too.

once the weaknesses have been mapped out, expect them to be exploited until new and better safe-guards are put in place

It also leads me to think that there could be another act to this. Maybe not during the present administration, but testing the boundaries of power can open the door to more brutal and orchestrated attempts in the future.

And to deflect from what’s going on within the US. The current administration loves to distract the public.

Is anyone paying attention the the ecological impact of the data centers needed to run chatGPT at scale? (I’m firstly concerned with the idea that ai is the solution to everything, but I don’t think the average person is looking at the carbon footprint of the cloud, esp when heavy computation)

And along with them you loose their expertise and experience with the system. Not something to take likely. They are your allies. All I’m saying is “don’t crap on them, they’re in this too”

I agree with you there.
I still believe they require support. If they crumble under this, who’s honestly going to want to step in and fight in their place?

In a two party system you often vote AGAINST one party, not FOR the other party.
This is why vilification if so effective in politics. And also why it is so important for political leaders to have a strong message about their character not just their platform.

Seeing a lot of complaining about the dems for their small victories - but this government has given most power to the top of the pyramid and the dominant party. The dems are doing what they can. Help them by making yourself heard by those destroying the system not by berating those resisting it.

Why isn’t the public stepping in to protect itself. America is suppose to be a democracy, not spectator sport.

I’ve long wanted to see these barriers come down. Quebec’s language laws are not helpful. Last year we added this to our list of stupid laws, ensuring that we will pay more for appliances here in Quebec and not be aligned with the Canadian economy:

Politicians and judges and government employees are resisting from within the system, but the people need to use their voices to support the resistance.
If this is a coup, why are Americans not out in the streets protesting loudly?

I have worked at companies where someone like Musk or Trump are introduced. No one wants to work in that shell of a company after them. America will not fare any better.
and every day that they are not removed from office, they break more of America. There will not be much left after 4 years.
