And precisely the Democrat platform, Which the Trump supporters voted against. Kamala ran on most of that and they rejected it

You were the one mentioning economics. What common ground is there? Please name examples

Economic struggles - which is about to get even worse because of the man they voted for. The only ones getting tax breaks are those who earns more than 100K a year, and with the cuts to social security and his "tarif taxes" everyone else lose.

I read a few comments from some MAGA's who said that with those millions of deportations it would "solve" the housing problems. Guess what - this is a way for the Trump admin to confiscate the property of those they deport!

One of many definitions but if you look at scandinavia there are no reconstruction of society. That is a lie. What it does however is make everyone pay a fair share of taxes. Imagine if Bezos, Musk etc.. all paid the same tax rate as the schoolteacher and secretary?
comment in response to

The scandinavian countries are social democracies and what you describe is wrong. They are also capitalistic with private companies. But basic services like health care, education and social security is paid through taxes. They are also among the wealthiest and happiest countries in the world

When fewer people are vaccinated, diseases spread more widely. And the more a virus spreads, the more opportunities it has to mutate. Some of those mutations could eventually bypass the protection of existing vaccines — putting everyone at risk, including those who can afford to pay.

Some of the richest and happiest countries in the world is led by democratic socialist.
The billionaires pay their fair share of taxes in a democratic socialist state and that is why those "Tech Bros" are doing their best to convince ordinary americans that free health care and education are "evil"

Trump is clearly not well. If he were anyone else, he’d likely have been placed in a nursing home or a psychiatric facility by now—somewhere he could safely spend his days pretending to be a king and commanding armies without putting the rest of the world at risk.

These deportations raise severe legal concerns, in light of the international human rights treaties the US is bound by. Article 3 of the Convention Against Torture ratified by the United States, prohibits deportation to any country where there is a substantial risk of torture or inhumane treatment.

Some things should never be privatized and letting Thiel and Palandir acess private data is like inviting the fox into the hen house

I believe one reason fewer Americans may be traveling to Canada is concern over overly aggressive border enforcement. There have been multiple incidents where U.S. CBP agents have demanded access to travelers’ phones—including those of U.S. citizens—at the border. thehill.com/policy/cyber...?

Honestly, I’m far more concerned about how this increasingly authoritarian government plans to use Palantir than I am about Miller’s potential conflicts of interest. We’re talking about a company built to harvest, track, and analyze vast amounts of personal data—often with minimal oversight

They already does. There are reports of detainees being paid 1$/day for working while being charged 10$ for a 10 minute phone call for next of kin.

And how many of those 59,000 will die in custody from lack of water, food, hygiene, or even basic medical care?
Who’s tracking them? Who ensures deaths are recorded, families notified?
Or do they just vanish—lost in the system, buried in silence, counted as nothing?

I’ve had two Labs, and every day we’d play “hunt the bear” (a stuffed teddy) in the woods behind our house. They lived for it—tails wagging, noses to the ground, ready to work and play. It was the highlight of their day…

A tool of fascism lol - hunting drugs in an airport.
Some dogs truly thrive on having a job to do—and when the training is done with love, they light up. Labs especially need mental and physical challenges; they get bored fast without them.

Exactly. The original Nazis left a paper trail—and it helped hang them at Nuremberg. These cowards took notes on that too. They don’t want records. They want plausible deniability. They want their crimes to vanish—along with the people they disappear. Efficiency over legacy. Evil without the receipts

So when they die due to lack of food, water, heat or abuse, then there is no way to confirm what happened and no way to hold the responsible people accountable. They are just "missing"

It's heartbreaking how easily people who should stand together are turned against one another. When life feels like failure, some seek solace in judging others—'At least I'm not them.' And all the while, even the teachings meant to inspire compassion—like those of Jesus—are twisted by neo-Christians

The goal is to scare people into silence. That’s exactly what the Nazis did — not just targeting immigrants or people of color, but anyone brave enough to speak out. It’s about control through fear. Don’t look away. Don’t stay quiet.
comment in response to

It's a bitter truth—when people feel like failures, it's easier to find comfort in looking down on others than facing the pain of their own struggles. And too often, those who should stand together are turned against each other, distracted by hate instead of seeing the real forces holding them down

Trump really is a modern-day Don Quixote — obsessed with windmills, fighting imaginary enemies, and totally detached from reality. Fitting that they’re both named “Don”… only one was fictional. Unfortunately, it’s not the one causing real damage.

I’ve never understood why a child with one white parent and one Black parent is automatically labeled “Black.” Why not “white”? Why not both? We don’t call people the “blue-eyed race” or the “brown-haired race.” Skin color isn’t biology — it’s politics.

Remember that neither Biden nor Harris were "dictators" - The house and senate had a lot to say too. Putting all the blame on the one person with the least influence got you to today.

The US did not commit genocide. Bibi did. And Biden actually put limitations on the type of weapons that the US would supply. Limitations immediately removed by Trump.
comment in response to

But Trump and his plans for a "Golden Gaza" and removal of all gazans were better?
Besides Trump was doing everything in his power to sabotage any kind of limitations put on Israel through his hold on the maga House and senate members
comment in response to

Do you understand the job of a vice president? Biden put several limitations on Israel, but had very little power to force anything giving that Trump kept telling Bibi that he just had to wait it out, until Trump came into power. The escalation of the genocide under Trump has magnified 100x

Instead a person who even admitted BEFORE the election that he would "clear" gaza of Gazans got elected. A person who has supported Bibi all the way. So how did that help?

Show me where she supported that? Remember she was not the president. She did not make decision on arms.

That’s why change has to start at the roots. Don’t accept disconnected reps. If they’re not present or don’t represent you — vote them out. Replace them with someone who actually shows up. No one should get to treat their seat like it’s guaranteed.

Then elect someone else. But all choices has consequences. And politics can sometimes be a choice between two evils where one is worse than the other. And no I definitely do not support Israel which some of the discussions I have had with israeli and jewish posters here shows lol

My real concern is that the Democratic Party may not be ready — or willing — to back another woman at the top of the ticket. And that hesitation could cost us more than just an election.

Oh, I’m not trying to minimize the challenges — I know they’re massive, believe me. But every shift starts somewhere. Just look at AOC: two years ago, many thought she was unelectable beyond her district. Now, she's becoming a serious contender and a rising favorite.

When a representative (regardless of party) refuses to hold meetings with their constituents - then they should hold their own and remember to listen more than they speak. Connect with the people they want to represent. BE THERE - That is the most important thing!

Then vote them out at the primaries. It can be done. Get the message out. The young people are far stronger when it comes to social media and experience has shown that being "present" is more important than huge donors.

All it takes is enough good men/women to work for change. If people throw in the towel in advance, no progress is made.
