Amazingly, this pales in comparison to the imminent fall of our country. Too few are aware to acknowledge it, and take action. The lines of communication are fractured by social media competing for users, poor readership of trusted news sources, and loss of community. People meme as Rome burns

This is the realization that we, the people, need to come to. The question is, when? Before, or after we lose everything. It seems the majority is still unwilling to acknowledge that the worst is actually happening.

According to data provided by the compromised Board of Labor Statistics. What will you say next month when they claim they added 1M jobs, after firing 250K Federal workers, & the private sector lays off even more in response to uncertainty? "Turns out all economists, and observable fact is wrong"
comment in response to post
Can you do anything about expanding FCC regulation, already existing for over-the-air broadcast TV and radio, to cover cable and internet preventing the distortion of fact?

Hurry up before they install the SEC chair, who was a government lobbyist for the financial sector. Or, maybe they'll just 'apologize'; pardon me...

Yes. This whole episode of history has put me on a path to a realization. We were never free. Our government, aligned with the wealthy, have acted against the people. We fought against slavery, against fascism, for workers/civil/voting/women/gay/environmental rights. We won? No we're still fighting.
comment in response to post
Aren't we still? A travesty that we needed an act to protect an amendment. Yet, we still are fighting amongst ourselves, clinging to fear of the other, lying about our internal biases. Fears stoked by wealthy capitalists to keep us divided. If we don't unite as a human race, we are doomed to fail.

Agreed, his whole life he demonstrated care for no one, and a narcissistic, if not sociopathic personality disorder. A perfect patsy. However, the Republican party acted knowingly over the past decades to bring us to this point, now casually accepting these unconstitutional acts. Power corrupted

But people also care about cognitive dissonance (although not consciously). Will admitting they were duped win, over rejecting this charlatan? We need to create a safe space for growth, somehow

The VP angle is also prohibited under the constitution, the only viable 3rd term option is an overthrow of government

This is the way. The march to a police state continues. The replacement of top military with lackeys, the Alien Act allows deportation of dissidents, if the request to enact the Insurrection Act passes, it's full martial law apnews.com/article/atf-...

Yes, self defense is 100% valid. Yes, some feel more secure with a weapon. Yes, this whole concept is disturbing and distopic. Large scale peaceful resistence will work and should be job 1. Then, god forbid, it's by any means necessary 🙁

Sickening isn't it 🙁

He's installing an SEC chair that was a former government lobbiest for the financial industry. That should take care of any pesky laws around manipulating the market and advancing crypto

Hell yeah. Not, 'still down 5000 points from it's recent high, after the largest avoidable crash in history.'

And the next day? Armored vehicles & drones. They have the guns, but we have the numbers. It's more effective to unite against the real enemy and to impress on our military, (that are our family BTW), who the right side is

Damn straight

Sounds like you want to bring back 1865, brother against brother? Despite all the deaths, we're still fighting that war, and for every other cause people died for. The guns didn't change hearts & minds. My 4th protest this past month. Last was 30K strong, with <100 against. No guns needed. Peace

If you're not scared, you're not paying attention. But courage is acting when it's scary to do so. You won't be alone however

Following me. I'm not here for likes or clicks. I'm not creating original content. I'm doing my little bit to try to save the world from itself. My role is to amplify, clarify & unify (if possible). If following is a path toward that, & not a distraction, ok.

Then connect with your staff @harvard.edu who recognize it's time to stand against fascism, against science denial, against the mistreatment and repression of marginalized groups. Show some of that leadership you're always touting, and acknowledge the 'veritas'.

I don't know if I'd advise that. I'm just hell-bent on making an impact through tangible, direct action. I want to motivate others to action and awaken them to the power they possess. The same families who ruled 500 years ago, do so today. It's our time, but it won't come easy, they're practiced.

To fight who, the military? Guns are only good against us, fighting amongst ourselves. That's what they want. They are the wealthy elite, drunk on power. If the people understood the power they have in unity, we could demand anything this afternoon, and have it in our sweaty palms tonight.

Removing or reigning in. The Republican congress is complicit and unable to be countered by the minority party members. We need the movement that comes from protest. That collective voice will break through the lies and weakness of media and CEOs. Propaganda fails against facts. It fails, we win.

Yes, but we're stepping up also. First it's the show of force, we are continuing to unify. There is strength in numbers, 5M+ last weekend marched. Show up at protests, and bring a +1. Align with a cause and support it. Discuss issues with those who differ. www.brookings.edu/articles/the...

It will though. George Floyd, the Women's March have faded but policing was reformed (not entirely by any means), and Weinstein is in prison, CEO's deposed. Civil Rights, Women's Rights, Gay Rights all through protest. Syria evolved into revolution, but others don't www.brookings.edu/articles/the...

"Our" country. 'Our' does not include you and me. The wealthy capitalists were at their strongest at this time. Except for now that is.

Act. Resist. It's a government by the people. That's us, not congress, not the supreme court, not the executive. Stand up now, or be stepped on later. @indivisible.org @50501movement.bsky.social @womensmarch.com

You mean enjoy our new found right to abolish government? The constitution no longer applies, so no sticky points there.

* Depose the current administration * Restore checks and balances & ensure integrity * Ferret out collaborators that allowed an insurrectionist to hold office * TAX THE RICH at 90% marginal rate - no loopholes * Establish greater democratic social policies, moving toward a more socialist gov't.

Their agenda is to overthrow the government. Intentional economic decline creates chaos and scarcity. The latest supreme court decision allowing use of the Insurrection Act of 1807, endorses their next move; to impose martial law in the name of national security. Little else matters right now

Again, remember to use your decoder ring to decipher the real message: They are looking to 'save' themselves in the midterms by eliminating opposition votes. They always use the terms that are true to their motives, only invert the message or imply it's a nefarious act of the Democrats.

Probably nothing. They're like-minded in their disdain for anyone who isn't wealthy. Thinking wealth equates with intellect (which it empirically does not). In their arrogance they rationalize that, 'they know better' & 'We have to break some rules to help these poor ingrates', ignoring their greed
comment in response to post
I like the out-of-the-box thinking, only leaning on state's rights didn't work out so well last time. More people are joining protests, which will empower us to depose them, so we can expand the FCC oversight to regulate cable and internet propaganda networks, undo the damage, & move to socialism

That's why he's quitting in May. Mission accomplished, as they like to say. If we don't see this an outright coup, the lesser approach is to rob the country blind, gratefully accept impeachment, and walk out with their pockets stuffed with cash. The ultimate smash-and-grab with a procedural escape

Our first mistake was to not react strongly enough against the reversal of Roe v Wade. That established our degree of complacency. Sotomayor is spot on, protections are beginning to fall. If they remove them all, the final check against power is the PEOPLE. Will we stand up? #Indivisible #50501

'Make sure we win' - Jim Jordan Republicans want to 'win' by undermining national security. By lying & cheating to install an agenda that is contrary to the constitution and public good. Their actions are resulting in the death of children, whether by measles or starvation and they call it a 'win'.
