We decided it is time to watch some stuff to distract ourselves from the absurd mess going on in the world right now, something that can ground us and bring some feeling of reality back in our lives. We'll start with the episodes of Back Mirror we still have not watched, then House of the Dragon.

I get kinda bothered to see people stating how wonderful it is to be on a "federated network like Bluesky". Bluesky might be neat and whatnot, but federated, it is not. Not in any way that would make sense to call a social network federated. It is a false advertisement at it's finest.

The ability to restrict who gets to see your post, to limit a post to certain people, is fundamental for a social media platform. I will not actively use bsky until this is in place. Until the network is open for all, not invite only Until it is ACTUALLY decentralized, not just claiming to be.

NGL. I would feel a lot better about this place if they could present a business model that made sense. They have a business model. It makes zero sense. Either, they have a hidden model, or they plan to fail, pocketing investor cash. This should answer why I am not going to be very active here.
