I still believe that personal integrity should matter. I can't stand bullies, loudmouths and self-promoters. Here primarily for the humour and the cat pictures.

Hypocrisy and shame seem to be two defining characteristics for all these people. apart from their appalling sexual predilection.

If it was a Republican governors residence, the perpetrator would already be in El Salvador.

Trump is also a criminal and an idiot, so there's that

I think Stefanik is the poster child for proving that higher education has lost its way.

They will, eventually, all cannibalise each other. Can only hope that is sooner rather than later

Stefanik back in the role of making herself look like a MAGA idiot again.

What is with the hoods? Any possibility they don’t want to be recognised because they know what they are doing is a disgrace?

Perhaps Witkoff has been stealing it on each visit. He does not seem to achieve much else.

Sometimes, there are no words that fully describe the level of delusion.

All probably true but his statement did not include anything about the contribution of billionaires to this mess. I will take Warren Buffet every day (a man who only wants to make money) over sanctimonious billionaires who pretend to have to have insight into the problems they are causing.

Is this the beginning of the fight back from the institutions?

PM Carney is a very impressive man.

Or a charity... This may be hard to take from someone outside the country but the USA is beginning to exhibit all the signs of a failing state.

If the power of the government is so great that it can override the other 2 branches of government then maybe, just maybe, the US model for governance has already failed.

aka "We burnt the entire house down but we rebuilt a wall (minus the mortar) very quickly. Who is stupid enough to believe this crap? Oh wait!

"You don't start a war against somebody..". A statement clearly aimed at his supporters who will question nothing he says. Honestly, as an outside observer, the USA (as a country) is losing the battle to differentiate between truth and lies. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

This is worse than Signalgate. Democrats cannot let go of this until there is complete transparency about what members of Congress bought critical stocks and when. Coincidences possibly, patterns definitely.

Big mistake. He should have said "...Democrats and Republicans...". This is not a partisan issue. Schumer is so uninspiring.

Does that mean Miller is self-deporting?

Clearly all military targets (otherwise known as indiscriminate artillery bombardments).

So, following the logic of Bondi, the USA can report anyone to somewhere (probably under false pretences) and then it is the responsibilty of that country to return the person. People, we are not talking intellectual scholar here and I am not a lawyer. PS Bondi is the AG (it may not be obvious).

Of course, there is no way that they co-ordinated that response...

They all think they are being clever but they are steadily working themselves into a corner, which they cannot escape from.

Martin needs taking down.

"The home-growns"!!! What the hell does that mean? Does he mean children of immigrants? People need to start getting out on the streets before the USA is lost forever.

It is not an ugly situation, it is an engineered refusal to obey the law.

When someone insists on talking over you it is because they know their argument is weak. News anchors, even Fox anchors, should simply say "If you aren't prepared to answer my points and questions the interview is finished. Thank you, we will invite again when you want to engage in a discussion".
comment in response to post
Hypocrisy is Republicans super-power because their supporters are too dim to understand the contradictions in their arguments.
comment in response to post
They are not catching the zeitgeist - they are creating it! All power to two people, of very different pages, who passionately believe in a different, better version of the USA.
comment in response to post
Corrupt to the core. If this man survives in position, it will be concrete proof that the USA is degenerating into a Russian style mafia state.
comment in response to post
Corruption is now government policy.

If a Republican Governor's house had been attacked Pam Bondi would have already been on Fox and calling for the death sentence.

There you have it. This is probably as near to the truth as you will ever get from Trump. He hates Biden, because he lost the Presidency and was held accountable for his crimes while Biden was President, he would happily sit back and let thousands die so he could blame Biden. A very vindictive man.

Noem is as truly evil as Stephen Miller.

Trump is always be assertive and opinionated about things that can never be proven. It is just part of being a conman.

Miller is a truly evil person.

I am only surprised he didn’t grab a rifle and try to kill it all.
