tracks like mario circuit 3, boo lake, and base mario circuit have very simple layouts but have such a feeling of rush it makes me love them despite low popularity
On the flip side tracks like super bell subway and sydney are difficult to master but have no abhorrent turns so you get that same rush

only real complaint i have is some parts definitely being catered towards the younger audience but honestly i just expect that going into anything pokemon these days lmao

it does have the same feeling i have with sm/journeys (more sm) where the filler is genuinely enjoying to watch and it definitely feels better having more interesting characters. also the battles are probably my favorite part when they do happen the animation is just so good
