All in all. Don't rely on things always being there, hoard as much data you can. Go into debt and buy hard drives. Don't take things for granted.

International piracy is more resilient. RARBG is gone but good replacements for it still operate.
Iranian piracy is virtually dead (at least compared to its heyday with tinymoviez).

This article is a good representative of how significant this one singular website was. It was affecting the operations of the biggest media org in the country despite basically being a website run by a ragtag crew of neets who really liked films.

Its sudden and unceremonious shutdown caused a lot of copycats to quickly rush to replace it. Non of them lasted long or were even remotely as good.
And now, more than half a decade later people are forgetting what it was and how good it was. I miss it dearly because it taught me so much I know.

The people who were there when the website was in its prime are far more literate when it comes to cinema, television, media piracy, dubbing, subbing, encodes, etc...
The people who were not struggle to even find the most accessible shows with decent subtitles in Persian.

It briefly created a very rich, active community of people who watched and discussed film and television in a centralised manner and the gaping hole left from it can clearly be seen in different people today.

In terms of the international proletarian revolution. Political study comes first which is what I’m doing atm where I am.

Well what I want is an international proletarian revolution. But I'm willing to settle in the short term for a democratic party that isn't absolute ass.

He funded the worst genocide of the 21st century while slurring over his words and forgetting where he is. The sooner you realise he was awful the faster you can be on the path of recovery. :)

The ACA is less than the bare minimum and so is all the shit Biden passed. A glass of water is useless in a house fire.

Kindness makes me feel giddy inside, it warms my heart in a world where having anything but a cold heart (or maybe having a heart at all) is frowned upon. And more & more often I have to resort to fiction instead of the real world to find that kindness.

Much of the reason I enjoy certain fictional stories is that I experience so much more kindness from fictional characters these days than I do from real people.
