Human brains are ridiculous. I've always known I do poorly in the heat, but literally just having a doctor say, "Yeah, you seem to have some degree of orthostatic intolerance, be careful in this upcoming heatwave," unlocked my brain enough to be, "Hey for real Gryph, let's Actively Do Less Things."

Tonight is a night to listen to Hozier very loud. I don't want to give too many details, but we helped someone identify a deceased pet today. I'm okay, and obviously it was hardest for the owner, but that's also very heavy on our side. I'm glad we could at least help give closure and compassion. ❤️

Welp, today I had to net a feral cat for the first time. Indoors, poor guy got loose while someone scanned for a microchip - he was injured so it was especially important to catch him before he hurt himself more. 🙁 Glad we HAVE the net, I'm sure that was the safest/least stressful way this time.

There are either six or seven kittens in each of these kennels. Normally we'd split them up, they need more space. But we are very full, and all 13 came in together. 🙃 Please spay/neuter, and if you feed community cats get them TNR'd!
