We tour in Europe regularly, in 2017, before UK went mad for e-bikes, on a bike path in Germany came across a woman with life changing injuries, literally her foot hanging off, no other vehicle involved. She was a larger, older lady with a heavy e-bike, when had she last ridden a bike I wondered!
