Just so everyone else is aware of how the last mayoral election went in LA… We had Bass, who most of us felt was unqualified, and this man trying to appear like he cares about the fires outside his own interests (he hired private firefighters to save his property.) Literal hell.

From my perspective, there weren’t a lot of brush-clearing efforts this year and it provided a lot of fuel to the fires. I doubt our incompetent mayor firing this person is going to change that. LAFD handled the fires well while Ms. Bass was abroad.
