My ultimate goal here is to say that Musk is leading an internal insurrection against the Constitution of the United States, and anyone who collaborates with him, accommodates him, or fails to act on their authority to arrest or stop him, has violated their oath under Section 3, 14A.

We are arms dealers to terrorists.

ATTENTION, SHOPPERS! We have a Silver Alert! If you’re missing an elderly gentleman, he is in the managers office. He is confused but he is safe.

On the theme of constitutional failure and emergency, see this piece by my friend and colleague, Johann Neem. My one reservation is that I would place the Impeachment Clause atop my list of failed provisions. jneem.substack.com/p/donald-tru...

People in the EU are now putting up stickers that read, “Elon Musk is attacking the European Union. Boycott Tesla,” and “Elon, stay away from the EU.” These stickers, featuring EU flags and a link to StopElon.eu, appear on public EV chargers and other visible spots.

I don’t know how many different ways to say that agency personnel don’t work for Elon. They don’t have to report to Elon. They report to their agency leadership, which reports to the President.

In the depths of the Nebraskan winter, 2400 people came out to listen to Bernie Sanders in Omaha last night. 800 had to be turned away at the door. Over 190,000 tuned into the livestream. There is a movement to be harnessed here. @sanders.senate.gov (📸 Anna Bahr)

What if we agreed on one email to BCC all these to: like AGFE, ProPublica, or @jasonleopold.bsky.social.

200 million dollars of waste.

I need everyone to be crystal clear that this is a continuation of RFK and the wellness community’s *obsession* with the elimination of the disabled and the chronically ill. They are disgusted by us, they view illness and disability as weakness, and they believe in using eugenics to disappear us.

this is an act of unspeakable violence. it benefits no one, it doesn’t move a number on a balance sheet. it only guarantees that every one of these incarcerated transgender people will be tortured.

They were way softer on an actual Nazi salute than they were on Noam Chomsky.

Good praxis.

Not sure it’s wise to F with desperate, battle-hardened fighters this way? I picture an endless supply of Ukrainian would-be assassins tailing him & his family with cold, vengeful anger for generations.

Their commitment to whiteness above all—above success, above health, above mere survival—always astonishes me. Machiavelli is groaning, covering his eyes, and shaking his head in bewilderment in his grave.

Most fiction books need about $10k in sales for breakeven. That’s what libraries do: we take a chance on new authors. Publishers are willing to take some risks bc they know libraries will fuel sales. Books sell on word-of-mouth marketing. Libraries—>readers—>recommendations.

A group of wolves is called a pack and a group of Nazis is called a CPAC.

“We had to erase trans people or we couldn’t get our federal funding” Fuck the federal funding. You fight, you sue, you do not become complicit in our mass erasure. We are all in this together, and we all go down together. I will not allow us to be jettisoned or erased.

It’s a death cult. They worship the loss of life, and take joy in forcing more death on anyone they can.

The poster child for white male mediocrity, Pete Hegseth, is firing qualified Black men and women from the military.

“PepsiCo confirmed Friday that it's ending some of its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives” Shame on PepsiCo. Black people built Pepsi. In some markets, Black people weren’t even allowed to buy Coke: they had to buy Pepsi instead. www.theatlantic.com/national/arc...

Sorry for making you look at him but yet again, as with Peterson, Musk, Montgomerie and so many others, the turn to the hard/far right begins with obsessive transphobia. It might be the primary driver of rightwing radicalisation over the last decade. They always bring it up.

2 friends died of pancreatic cancer in the last 3 yrs. It’s the most Fuck Cancer of cancers. So quick: both times, “I just saw him a month ago!” This breakthrough is amazing. At least a chance of catching it.

I am tired of this horseshit. BP didn’t “go green”; it kept drilling for oil and gas in repressive petrostates and creaming billions in profits These analysts actually believed the greenwash, and are now calling for the black pill www.thetimes.com/business-mon...

We urge university leaders to respond confidently, with law and moral principle on your side, and not to sacrifice essential and legally defensible DEI initiatives that help universities fulfill their most basic mission to pursue truth and knowledge for the common good. app.box.com/s/2me4mszr6p...

So incredibly heartened by my colleagues who are fighting like hell for a world where people have access to the arts and humanities, not because it serves STEM, but because this is about nourishing our humanity

The rise of gen AI, backed at every level by the far-right, suggests the arrival of an _anti-information_ age. AI offers a self-reinforcing bullshit loop that, much like a Russian disinfo operation, serves to muddy the information space and create doubt about the very nature of reality.

Worth pointing out that Tesla’s charging network is surely their most valuable asset. Anything that hobbles other charging standards is a boon to Musk even if it appears “anti EV”

Day #21 of BHM Mary Jane Seacole (1805-1881) was a Black woman of Scottish, British, and Jamaican heritage who was a nurse and businesswoman. Seacole was born to a community of free Black people in Jamaica. 1/

Data point for young men feeling like they don't get a fair shake compared to young women: At 10:30 am on a Friday the ratio of women to men studying in a sample academic library was roughly 5:1.

The country singer started the “Imagination Library” nearly 30 years ago to encourage early literacy. www.thedailybeast.com/dolly-parton...

I feel like a lot of very normie very moderate liberals prefer AOC to most other congressional Dems and there’s something there, something to build on.

Trump is trying to rewrite history by claiming that Russia did not start its brutal war with Ukraine. Why? To open up business opportunities in Russia for his family and friends. Trump is blatantly lying to the world to line his own pockets. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/20/w...

Goddamn, this vandalism spree will take a long time to undo.

We are now finding bird flu in deer mice and house mice in Washington State. H5N1 is advancing along the evolutionary ladder—affecting birds, mammals, and humans. This is not speculation; it’s a timeline.

Sure looks like Google News caught the Latin Times using a large language model to write an article picking up on my latest report

In addition to Congress being the place that makes the laws, pretty key thing, the constitution explicitly says Congress gets to create the postal system. It’s not left implied that that comes under law making generally. The President has no power to unilaterally abolish it and move it to commerce.
