Marketing - as it's not branded as 'the dark side'.
Money - as people gotta eat.
I see the 'money and power' type comments - but stormtroopers were the grunts and more common types of people as I know it, they were just trying to survive.

The second season had me very confused as I remembered it being hit and miss, and hadn't read up on the movie. Once it got outta the two Movie eps I felt less crazy 😅 Still better than se1, hope it keeps it up!
