Thank your body for being a great sentry & let the feelings sit without examining them for a while. We’re all coping with overwhelm; rational & emotional. Invest in social connections. Protect your sense of joy. Clear-eyed folks who are not exhausted are important. We’re all in this together.

Like many things British in origin, it took others to really make it amazing. After arguably hundreds of years of hop attrition in British IPA recipes and the onset of refrigeration technology, Californians finally realized the “off-flavor” of a preservative ingredient was anything but.

Even Mike Walsh (once-prospective buyer & brewery neighbor) recently had no response from Hamdi. Maybe I’ll have to head into the city and knock on the door at Hotalings. Last Paddy’s Day at the UICC we had the who pub singing “why did he burn the churches down, and save Hotalings Whiskey?!”

As a parent, I know this isn’t true all the time. Knowing what I do about you, you have a huge amount of concern for those you’re living with regardless of how their behaviors benefit or inconvenience/negatively affect you. ❤️

I can’t believe some boutique brewery hasn’t come out with some two-keg stout a la 1973, even if it’s just a novelty for onsite fans.
Also, I’ve heard of “three-butts” porter with small beer, beer, and ale being mixed from different kegs, but never the two-keg porter!
