One of my best friends showed me that in college (1998?) and it’s bonkers. Great shoutout

I’ve never heard of this but am making note for later!

Best part of all the replies is everyone’s personal favorite is ALSO arguably his best work. No wrong answers to the question.

I don’t know you personally, but enjoy following you, and am really impressed with the changes you’ve made with life, and wish you the best. Stay strong!

So FUCKING underrated. Saw them open for Weezer, and as John was lighting a smoke someone yelled “Weezer” and he responded “ Patience, little man. Your band will come.” Went out of the he next day and bought Regretfully Yours and every album after.

At the Ozarks with Muswell Hillbillies and 66 degree weather. Thanks again for a great column!

I lost my mind when the guys skied behind the cars and then the air fans kicked in. Still sticks in my mind. Furiosa deserves more than just stunts but it deserves all the stunts

I get people not knowing about it, but being bad? Then it’s just not a genre you like an leave it at that. It’s a western shot like late -70s kung fu with Spaghetti Western personality and it rocks.

I knew it!!! Excited to read it

Finally, The Kinks.

I forgot this existed and need to now watch it

I started the series probably a smidge too young. Loved the first two, and got lost on 3 and petered out. A few years ago I bought the complete set all in one and blew through them. Was not disappointed. Enjoy it!

I always think about my dad during the “nest egg” scene. He loved this movie

The key is in the couple. Great chemistry

I enjoyed it! There was one scene I had an issue with but it’s nitpicky, and I don’t want to share it (although I REALLY want to discuss) for fear of spoilers. When your movie only has two actors for most of the films, finding two leads with chemistry is so crucial and they nailed it

Volunteering/community service. Takes your mind off you and focus on others. I used to teach and my wife still teaches elementary so I volunteer there all the time

NFL is pro-Trump, anyways. Life sucks. Every fanbase in red.

I loved that soundtrack

I hate to break it to you but most football fans are. I’m a KC guy, not a MAGA guy, as are most of my friends, but we’re all outnumbered 🤷

I saw Blade, so samesies. Should be a triple-feature

You asshole, I didn’t come to cry before getting to the pick of the week! Great article, sir. Go Chiefs

I’m a KC kid, parents were season-ticket holders from 87-2000. Whole experience is insane. I’m fine with the hate because any fan of any team would kill to be in this position. Game was fantastic and clean- I can’t believe it.

I’m a KC kid and I appreciated this was just a good game. Biased because KC won, sure, but I thought it was just well-played on all sides

He’ll yeah it is. Shout it from the rooftops. Really was surprised by Hemsworth’s performance and Crowe never half-asses it.

Appreciate it! Yeah, I just need to take the time, like anything else. I’ll get it done but I’ll tag this just in case.

Nuked mine this week. FB is next but it’s tough with a lot of relatives and pics and what not (the ones I still like)

This has been on my list to see forever. I have a 14 year old who loves detective/murder/mystery movies. I’ll preview it first but pumped for it!

Hell yeah!

Chiefs guy here. We got ya next week!

Holy shit. Sliver has a part of my heart for 17-year old me, but Dead Calm is awesome. First movie for me where I recognized Kidman as being someone with the goods

Only saw this once and loved it. Need to revisit again. Good double feature with The Invitation?

Watching it now and I do agree it’s funny how they make it THREE times. Isn’t PA supposed to be easy? That being said I’m enjoying it so far

Last Crusade was the one I saw in the theater, so it’s probably my favorite from that standpoint, but I won’t disagree with you

lol “Santa’s Super Sleigh”!

100% a Christmas Movie. Great soundtrack, too.

It was a fun ride. It went up a notch when it switched to the girlfriend. Funny enough, watched 28 Weeks Later with each of my kids separately this last week (the younger wanted to see it after hearing about it from the older - they both loved it)
