Hey fellow #WFRP gm's, what's the general opinion on using character species options from older editions to cover for stuff that isn't in 4e. As an example if a player wanted to be a Stirlander, so you used "Sigmar's Heirs" to let them use those options (with more or less updating to fit 4e).

Exhibit 132412352521 of "we told you this would happen" Trans sports bans make it more likely that cis girls will be abused by child predators.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a declassified World War II-era CIA guide to sabotaging fascism in the workplace has become one of the most popular free ebooks on the internet: www.404media.co/declassified...

DEI exists to help right the historic wrong of unqualified white dudes always getting the gig.

If you see a dragon, post a dragon! A really impactful one for me was Glaurung. All dragons are physically threatening, but Glaurung manipulating the members of Húrin's family into ruin showed me a sinister dragon. One who could do more harm with his words and hypnotic eye then his teeth and claws.

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps. The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years. History is repeating. Pay attention.

GOP hypocrisy in a nutshell.

I recently got my hands on pdf's for the third edition of #wfrp, and I had always heard the adventure plots were good. Anyone have opinions on that, or this edition in general?

It’s that simple…

My friends have been doing the "but X person has been dead for TEN YEARS?!" joke with to much regularity lately, as revenge upon arriving in town with the merchant they are escorting a local will say to the (mad) merchant "but sir, don't you remember, your sister has been dead for TEN YEARS!?" #WFRP

saw someone asking what trans people did to deserve all the vitriol, & nothing actual of course. but transness breaks the rule #1 of the conservative hierarchical worldview, that your position is to a large degree defined by your birth. choosing to put yourself in a different tier is heretical

If you care about trans rights, now would be the time to call your conservative democratic senators (or any democratic senator for that matter) and tell them to filibuster Speaker Johnson’s title IX trans discrimination bill.

Running #wfrp played a really big part in teaching me how cultists could operate in a clandestine manner that wasn't entirely cut off from society, and especially how they might try to deal with Bold Adventurers that are hunting them! What has Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay taught you over the years?
