Yes, I want to see them and hear from them, not just receive outlandish daily emails asking for cash I do not have. What would I be donating to currently? Mostly silence and a few sm posts after a new terrible plan drops.

1987 is mid, I think? Mine would be "Perfect Girl." But like, most of that album.

I hate thinking about how he could make this weird actual problem so much worse.

Well, it's on my favorite album of theirs, and the video is super fun. And I think the beginning of it grabbed my attention and drew me in forever. But I also like the version on Mixed Up a lot.

Tonal restraint is really not a good look these days.

I got 3 of them very quickly, so just put in the remainder first without stopping to figure out what they had in common.

Anyway, please remind the news side everyone is quite angry right now and would like them to stand loud and firm against the fascist takeover.

I began reading The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune yesterday, determined to not burn through every book, but enjoy them more carefully. I don't read a lot of supernatural stuff these days, however, I like the protagonist so far; he feels good and real, and it's an intriguing setup.

It angers me, honestly, that younger people have taken it up again after so many years of decrease. It strikes me just a bit like complacence about vaccination and democracy; they don't remember people with arms that were either withered or had numbers tattooed on them. Media is complicit in it all.

I always appreciate this one. Maybe I will do this challenge, as well.

Tropical fruit in a savory dish? How super crazy and weird and never-before-thought of! Let's carve our superiorly narrow taste opinions on granite tablets!

I heard this on the way to work on Sunday and as usual it took me back to a time and a place and a cassette tape, but then you get such mixed feelings now, hearing him sing it.

Well, I'm not sure how I never got to it before, but I definitely will now. :-)

I just listened to the Do Go On podcast about this today, and, realizing I never have read it, am now thinking it over. I don't always love an epistolary novel (but sometimes I do,) often very dry.
Seeing your post pop up on my feed feels serendipitous, so I'll put it on my February calendar.

I don't know where the full-sized image has gotten to, but here's a blurry version of me with the Standing Figures from a visit around 15 years ago.

Recently I found this book at Goodwill, and I was so excited, but it turned out to be too expensive for me that day. I keep hoping it'll be there next time I can go back.

I sure do miss the beach. But hey, I grew up in Kansas City so I'm also telling people here in Cincinnati what an ice storm is really like! Take care :-)
