That drink was one of the best I’ve ever had- sage infused tequila and a hint of pistachio were the stars

What’s sad too is I think you and I would have enjoyed following each other as fellow nerds and liberals, but you were really quick to judge and fucked w my business 🙃

Hi I’m being affected by this and you added my work account @tantriceden.com to a porn block list instead of just changing your personal moderation settings to not see it. You’re actively suppressing my business and income while my family is evacuating 🙃 delete the list and change your mod settings

Yes! But mostly it’s alluded to as “the bushes rustling” as the younger generation are exploring each other. Like Peter Pan, there’s a lot of sexual undertones without directly putting the microscope on it, because it nods to more taboo topics. An acknowledgment w/o fetishization

The sex thing is even more a theme in Huxleys 😏 but kind of a reverse- it’s so normalized until it just stops as they become adults in the utopia. Whole beautiful commentary on how shame is learned
I do love Orwells character building those- leagues beyond what Huxley does for brave new world

Much prefer this one in terms of storeytelling and making the point- especially the humanity factor. Orwell got so preachy most schools don’t teach the philosophy anymore just the plot. Huxley did it all while making the audience smile

I love fermented foods in general, but that’s definitely the best. It’s such a comfort flavor for me
