Me, either, I definitely didn't just catch up on some mod posts from yesterday and dip immediately.

I didn't realize that was specifically a Seattle thing, but I do remember hearing people (you know the ones) saying that.

Mine had one, and all they told us was never to take out a student loan. Weird coming from a school that insisted on a 100% college acceptance rate and didn't help with applications.

Sounds similar to mine (so jealous), but I would also go to the MERL.

I don't like dill (sorry to Canada also), but I like most other kinds of pickles - sweet pickles, sour pickles, trooshi pickles...

A lot of hotels will bring you a kettle if you ask! But full disclosure: I end up bringing a travel kettle anyway.

Of course, I don't want to imply that anything I did was with parental support; it wasn't. We didn't really share many views, and while nobody had to tell me to care about other people, my parents actively tried to discourage it. It didn't work.

Sure, but the people posting it are not the people in the shows, so I'm just going to remember not to walk away since now if you don't hit "skip" half the ads will just play forever, apparently.

Oh, they are terrible at alt text: image is a promo pic of Greg as the archetypal mad scientist, with s19 contestants all trapped inside beakers! Little Alex Horne stands anxiously in the background, and there's a few Easter eggs like a rubber duck in a vat and a beaker for "Assistant's Tears".

Weirdly I'm literally watching this right now, and everyone in this episode seems to agree (terrible photo proof)

Ah, I've never seen that. (But I've never done laundry because I just bring enough things for how long the trip is). But how much space can that much underwear possibly even take up? This guy sounds like that lightweight camping subreddit.

Exhausting? Like...don't they collect it and bring it back for you?

The hill I will die upon is that Sister Rosetta Tharpe invented rock and roll guitar.
That her trip with Joe Boyd in 1964 inspired an entire generation of British guitar players.
That Chuck Berry said that his entire career was an imitation of her.
A Queer Black woman.

I don't know how long it was (it didn't show that) but it was at least five minutes before I could get back to it to skip and it was still going...
