The consequence to failing those objectives is heavy group damage, or sometimes even a full wipe. Having played over the last week or so, it has been amazing watching people learn those fights, improve, and drastically increase the success rate of each boss attempt!

My favourite aspect is the bosses. At the end of each run, you and any other survivors ascend to fight a boss. They're very reminiscent of MMO raid bosses that require you to cooperate with others to complete objectives while dodging attacks that are typically telegraphed on the floor, FFXIV style.

You roam larger Diablo-esque overworld maps to gather power, then enter "torture chambers" - challenge rooms that again evoke that Hades vibe and award you relics that power you up and influence the way you play.

33 Immortals is genuinely such a blast. It's an interesting blend of Hades style roguelite and weapon selection/customization elements alongside cooperative multiplayer that sees you working with groups of people both in smaller parties and as large lobbies to complete objectives.
