We can trace a lot back of today’s ills and wrongs to Reagan. He started it when he fired the Air Traffic Controllers. Broke unions, weakened education, ignored mental health issues & homelessness,and allowed the gun lobby to proliferate. He was a grade B actor who knew how to smile for the cameras.
