It’s not just health care. Research grant app reviews are on hold. The current grants are done in April. Research will come to a halt. The talent is already making emigration plans. PhD programs are being downsized. Not only are we loosing talented people, we are loosing a generation smart people.

Former pediatric PTA here, for children in our care, Medicaid was their lifeline. There will be severe unintended consequences from these cuts. I’m glad I’m retired.
