We had lots of good reasons to legalize in 2023. Self- care through the shitstorm that is the last 75 days is another unexpected one.

I do not accept this. We can and should do better, and I call on all of our partners to continue to sound the alarm against that injustice. I renew my commitment to this work every day, and my door is always open to anyone who feels unsafe at the Capitol, member, staff or visitor.

Condoning and supporting this behavior further entrenches us in a world where sexual assault and abuse are unremarkable, everyday occurrences, and allows predators to feel emboldened to prey on victims. Those with a history of sexual misconduct have no place sitting in our government in MN or DC.

Abhorrent behavior should not be a partisan issue, however, the GOP has a notable habit of promoting politicians with a public history of sexual abuse. This enabling of sexual predators sends the message to survivors that their suffering is trivial and their abusers will not face repercussions.

and ensure everyone knows what they can do if they feel unsafe. The charges against Eichorn are a reminder that the work is not done.
These allegations are part of a larger story that does not stop at the state level.

The serious and predatory nature of these allegations show a risk to the community and are enough to disqualify him from office, and I believe he should resign.
It has been my privilege to work alongside staff and legislators to protect people at the Capitol from sexual harassment and abuse,

We must push back against the injustice coming from Trump/Musk.
Together, we will fight to make a difference. Call your representatives, make some friends, and provide support to your fellow community members! LFG!

To be clear, the Senate DFL Caucus voted this move down, and the Education Policy chair confirmed he will not give this vile legislation a hearing.

At a time when trans youth, adults, and their families are being subjected to state and national attacks on their rights and identity, please hear me:
I see you, I value you, and you are important to this world just the way you are.

They are using this opportunity for press to push a bill that is disgusting in itself, and is of a type of bill attacking trans kids that we know raises calls to suicide hotlines.

The GOP said it was urgent to move today, even though the bill was introduced in early Feb, and the author has never asked for a hearing in the committee.
Surprise, surprise, there are national press and anti trans advocates here today to cover this bill in the (momentarily GOP controlled) House.

And now, and man who has bragged about his own predatory action and been found liable for SA claims ultimate power.
The letter stated, “the president’s interpretation of the law governs because he alone controls and supervises subordinate officers”
WTF.

Welcome to the team, (very very nearly) Senator! You're jumping in the deep end, but we are thrilled to have you!
