This special collectors' episode also comes packaged with a rare companion essay: www.xplainthexmen.com/2025/06/an-o...

They contacted me once in the last few months asking if I was interested in taking up a sponsor they had, I said yes and would like to know more... aaaand nothing has happened since.

And it's fun when they accuse US of not letting it go.

Go right ahead! Though be warned that if you stream on Youtube, it MIGHT get flagged by me or my MCN via ContentID. If that happens, just point to this post to indicate I'm okay with it as background noise like that.

America's getting those kind of levels, too, so we sympathize. @_@

"Cinderella?" One-word episode titles are too big a risk - Disney is doomed.

Not popular enough, I imagine. XD

To be fair, I haven't gotten any, either. I mean, I've gotten offers but they are either sketchy or for AI.

Nebula's an exclusive space and honestly it's probably better for them to be that way. There's a lot less backend work that needs to happen and better policing of material/comments/etc.

Well that's really hard for me because I had to look up who John Irving is and not familiar with any of their work. XD

Only 10 gigs max. Out of 128.
Yeah, I thought it might be ram, but nope - it seems to be fine.

Oh? Where was the Endeavor said to have survived?
Also, I love the possibility that all of Star Trek post-Wolf-359 is a fever dream because Data said he couldn't detect any life signs when the Enterprise arrived, yet DS9 and onwards.

Ugh, I see what you're doing, Emily. Why can't you just leave that Quattro Bajeena guy alone already and stop making wild accusations?

No, you fool! You're just going to make him a Monsterfucker!

I think it definitely was just you two. I already had my accounts set up because I think I understood at the time that I didn't want my videos controlled by someone else and there was no need for a middleman with how the site was structured.

YUUUUUP. I admit I don't know if the CoD stuff was true, but yeah - we'd leave messages for him on Skype or the like, try to get in touch for approval for things, and often would have to talk to Holly or his brother, who WOULD answer and try to get clarification for us.

...to the point where I STILL wonder why they bothered to have another big talent hunt after the first mass exodus if they weren't going to care about it or do anything with it!

See, that's the thing: the COMMUNITY was great! We're STILL all friends with each other! I'm STILL asking for the occasional cameo or the like!
Because we actually CARED about the community, being with each other, and working together! The higher-ups were the ones who didn't give a shit...

"Talk to him face to face, the guy infamously difficult to get in touch with who lived in another fucking state."
Fucking clowns. The shitbags who lost an argument hours ago and then suddenly pipe up out of nowhere to yell "...AND ANOTHER THING!"

You can't just fucking sue somebody for being an asshole and even if we could, as has been demonstrated time and time again, sometimes a lawsuit still costs more than you'd actually get!

...was actually a sticking point for us! A lot of the stuff we did was mostly on the basis of "we are friends or fans and we wish to be a part of this larger thing and oh shit my livelihood is now threatened if I piss them off."

"Why didn't you bother to lawyer up?"
People need to really, REALLY understand something: there was no formal employment.
We were not even independent contractors.
They said "Hey, want to be a part of us?" and we were like "YES!"
Some people DID get contracts, but that lack of one, IIRC...
