Hey there, great to hear you love Linux! @everythingopen.au ran recently in Adelaide - it's a different conference to linux.conf.au - fewer days, broader topics - but just as great - stay tuned for where it's headed in 2026. You may also like @kiwipycon.nz. More at: linux.org.au/events/

Terms on the Linux Australia Council are for one year, from January to January. Each role is voluntary, and comes with a time commitment, however provides robust professional experience, over-seeing a multi-million-dollar, well-established organisation. 3/8

As an incorporated association in NSW, the organisation is governed by a 7-member board, which we call the Council, which includes four Office Bearer roles (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) and 3 ordinary committee members (OCMs). 2/8
