I’ve been in the same boat and have found a lot of joy in watching Modern Family. It’s on Hulu currently!

Now I’m wondering if it’s because they sleep like that? Unless they make specialized beds (not unreasonable I guess) or they fold backwards and lay on the horse back. I hate the idea of both, so I’m assuming they sleep upright, which could explain the abs.

At some point the old lady disappeared and I just kept running for the exit. I pass through an exit door and am suddenly surrounded by trees. Nope, it’s more creepy art and the trees are growing straight out of the uncanny valley. I keep running. After that everything is blurry then I woke up.

The old woman says “we need to run, they’re coming.” And then the light in the diorama turns out at the same time the room goes dark and our eyes adjust to the red emergency lights. From there it was just running from exit sign to exit sign in between these increasingly alien art pieces.

The lights dim and we start to hear the slamming of doors in the gallery behind us. It gets less detailed here because the dread and panic start to set in. We go back downstairs to a room with a diorama of the museum building, lit with miniature lights, which start going out one at a time.

We go along a gallery full of surreal and beautiful impressionist paintings. We near the end and hear a dripping sound. A painter is actively creating a new piece, paint dripping from his canvass. He turns to us and smiles and says “you have to keep going!” Okay sir yes, that was the plan.

The museum starts nice enough, some Chihuly-esque glass installation outside beckoning us in, setting the mood for some cool art exhibits. Then we get inside and it’s some weird but still beautiful otherworldly sculpture or pottery. There is a staircase leading up.

ABC is covering the election in their year in review and it is raising my hackles and I am enraged and terrified all over again.

I’ve switched to ABC and it’s not better.

It’s giving Tale as Old as Time for sure, but if there were a montage at the end of the movie letting us all know what the servants are up to a year after they turned human again. Like they do on the British Baking Show. Good familiar!

My last gifted deck was a very themed brew (Bear Force One ft. Ayula), so I’m hesitant to upgrade it. If I did anything I’d make sure it was in spirit of the theme, but it’s not a deck I play to win with.

Oh no, the mucilage fibers have wormed their way into his brain! Someone grab my clamps, a hacksaw, and some pliers, we have some gardening to do!
