Remember it was Māori fighting for Te Tiriti o Waitangi to be honoured that New Zealand was spared the worst that Neoliberalism could do in the 80s-90s because a lot of the policies breached Te Tiriti. So some of the workers rights that are still around are because of Māori #nzpol

#PRESSRELEASE ⬇️⬇️ The first commercial shallow seabed mining operation in the world approved right here in Aotearoa. No transparency. No public input. No consent from tangata whenua. We need to make this a #OneTermGovt Because their legacy shouldn’t become ours. @whaeadeb.bsky.social #NZPol

This is my friend Lucy who is currently missing in Wellington. She is vulnerable, low on resources, and may be experiencing paranoia and disordered thinking so if you see her please be gentle and honest. Her mother is now nearby and can come to wherever. Please share.

So it's not okay to call RW politicians acting like utter cunts "cunts", but it is okay to call a well thought-out and equitable budget manifesto "Marxist" despite not being Marxist?

After all the annoying gov stuff going on this is the post that made tears.

On RNZ midday news, David Seymour said (quote): “I still believe a full open public inquiry in front of a Select Committee is the fastest way to get a detailed, effective bill with consensus across the political spectrum." Ummm... does this apply to the Pay Equity legislation??? #nzpol

I'm thinking that gender specific slang perpetuates misogyny? It's tough though when it's so satisfying to say and has a wonderful shock value.

Today its all about printmakers again to coincide with the exhibition, ‘Reframing Women’, at @BooksontheRise in Richmond, UK throughout May & the NEW wonensart book ‘Reframing Women Printmakers’ available to PRE- order at any good bookshop!! ❤️💜💙

the list at the end of this letter doesn't even describe half of what caregivers do for people. thank you so much for writing this, patricia. nobody should have to be thinking, writing & worrying about this.

I was grateful to be to stand on the lawn outside parliament today in Te Whanganui-a-Tara and hear from the Hīkoi for Health folk. Great work all! I look forward to more dissemination and keep the poems coming. #hikoiforhealth

Comedy festival in Wellington this week. I've booked for these two solo shows like a delectable double whammy of wonderful whacky women. Johanna Cosgrove and Maria Williams.

WANZ member Lucy Schrader is speaking at #NDF25 about how GLAM people make great Wiki editors 👏

Nice to see this artwork. Kollwitz was one of my favourite artists when I was younger. So dark, so much contrast, so strong. I'm going to look her up again!

my favorite thing about Steven Adams is that he is 6’11” and looks like this and is somehow not the most intimidating individual in his immediate family because his sister Valerie is a four time world champion shot putter

This statement about the transphobic Supreme Court ruling by the UK's Crab Museum (yes a museum about crabs) is better than 99% of the statements I've seen on the topic www.crabmuseum.org/visit 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀
