I have been fuming all day! Sent on the weekend to ruin our lives outside of work! I hate this regime.

If he annexed Canada, there would no longer be a Democratic party. Only Trump. What are they thinking printing this?!

Weird. They don't think about rural communities.

I refuse to hate. My husband could get fired at any point but I want to show love always

I've heard a lot of this as a federal employee, I never thought it would affect you, shortly after I stated all the ways it effects all of us.

Thank you for all you do. I live in Yellowstone, in government housing. I've been told not to worry about outside accommodations because we live in the "McMansion" of housing in the park. I don't know if the government house I turned into a home is in threat.

That's so very Sauron of him. The only path to peace is complete subjugation and control.

Right? I was so disappointed.

This is outside of my living room window right now. My house is about a 1/2 mile from the geyser

This photo isn't current. We've been getting dumped on all week. This was taken last week outside of the visitor center. I think the account uses their photos from previous visits to OF. (I live at Old Faithful year round)

In addition to the added stress of many Park Service jobs having their housing tied to their position. Jobless and homeless in one moment.

Very informative! I received a rock tumbler for Christmas, so I am trying to learn the names of all my pretty rocks now.

Me too. In addition to the big stress, my husband is employed by the federal government. Hoping for beauty in the little things for both of us.

I'm with you! I've been reading history & political theory, with frequent escapes into fantasy worlds.

My dogs were miserable this morning & have been snuggled by the fire for the last two hours.

I live in Yellowstone, yesterday was -10, there was still a crowd outside watching an Old Faithful eruption.

It was built in 1904 & the weather here is extraordinarily cold. Those high ceilings make it nearly impossible. Yellowstone gets snow pretty much every month, so you can have that cozy feeling in July. The roads are closed so filling up such a large hotel would be challenging. Snow Lodge is lovely.
