Makeela walked up the stairs to the second floor of the temple, and no sooner than she rounded the corner, a Construct lept out at her.
she dodged its attack gracefully, drawing her weapons as she prepared for battle.

Makeela smiled softly at him.
❛ great.
let's get started, then! ❜ she mused happily.

when they arrived at the Lightning Temple, the chief smiled at him.
❛ watch out, there's a lot of monsters around here... ❜

❛ understatement of the century, ❜ she laughed.
the chief's training was very intense, but she enjoyed it nonetheless.

Makeela shook her head gently.
"I'd rather you stay here," she mused. "Things are known to get a little... shocking when I'm at the Lightning Temple."

Makeela giggled.
"I suppose so," she mused. She then stood, stretching her arms over her head. "Now if you will excuse me, I've gotta head over to the Lightning Temple for some training... gotta keep the skills sharp, y'know?"

Makeela kissed him gently, smiling.
"By the Seven..." she muttered. "You drive me crazy, in like, the best way."

Makeela eyes brightened and she smiled.
"What would I do without you?" she purred, her voice like that of a sweet melody.

"...it's just so hard to believe in myself when all these bad things keep happening," Makeela sighed. "I just feel like all of this is my fault, in a way."

"It was mainly because Link was there, though..." she sighed. "I couldn't have done it on my own."
She leaned into his embrace gently.
"Maybe Shi'iva was right... maybe I am a disgrace to the Gerudo lineage."

"...as I hope the other Gerudo do," she sighed. "Sometimes I feel like my efforts are in vain."
Makeela often felt as if she were the cause of the Gibdo attack back then. If only she had been more careful, more prepared...

She looks over to him and sees him touching where his scar was.
"...I know, love," she sighed. "I'm scared, too. But we'll get through this together."

"Ready the cannon from the Gibdo attack, and have someone who knows how to use it nearby at all times," Makeela said. "We never know when she might strike."
She sat up and sighed.
"As for everyone else, have them move into the underground shelter," she said.

"The Yiga Clan..." she trailed off. "Haven't they had enough of torturing us?"
Makeela leaned her head on Nexus's shoulder with a sigh.

"...don't tell me she's back already," Makeela sighed.
Part of her was still afraid of what that traitorous vai might do, and she hugged Nexus's arm lightly.

Makeela was glad to see that he was becoming more welcomed in Gerudo Town... there was a time when he wasn't.
"Alright, is there anything else that might be cause for concern?" she asked, turning back to the guards.

"That's good," Makeela purred. "The temple is known to have a bunch of monsters."
She looked over to Nexus with a smile, the secret stone in her earring catching the light softly.
