Yeah I've got Jim Justice and Shelly Moore Capito 🤢 They don't care about their constituents. Big Jim only cares about evading more taxes, meanwhile WV suffers in extreme poverty and most recently disastrous floods.

Is a Costco membership worth it if I don't have any nearby? Closest is 3 hours from me. Do they have enough shipped items to make it worth it?

We used to shop there several times a month. Haven't spent a penny since they ended DEI. Which is sad because I love Target so much and they have the best snacks and holiday stuff. I do most of my Christmas shopping there usually, but not anymore.

Same, it's so disappointing. It's funny because conservatives supposedly have been boycotting Target since they found out about their trans inclusive bathroom policy and line of swimwear. Although I think the boycott was hardly a thing. The right is very bad at boycotts and has a short memory

I fully planned to take a trip to Mexico for the first time next year, but now that is absolutely not happening. I won't be flying for a long time. Which is sad because I want to travel and see more of the world and the US. For now I'll have to stick to exploring states on the East Coast.

AI has absolutely ruined search results. I can't find anything I need now and the summaries are often incorrect or out of date

School choice, aka "I want to pull money out of public schools and have them funneled into worse schools that are also for-profit"
And the Hope Scholarship is stupid and incentivizes people to pull their kids out of public schools. Not to mention it's highly unregulated

West Virginian here too. Nothing has made me so ashamed of my state as it's love for Trump. And it is maddening that people are either oblivious to what's happening or happy about it. Truly sickening. I love WV, but people are so ignorant, often willfully so.

I would hope so, but they're so brain rotted by Fox that they will find a way to blame it on Biden somehow. And Obama

I'd love to go back to not having to wake up every morning wondering what rights and freedoms are on the chopping block.

I hope Canada refuses to import American goods then. As an American I hope Canada makes it painful for us. Even though a majority did not vote for this, making people feel the pain may be the only way to fight back and wake some people up

Who do people have more, gay men or women in general? I think it's high time we had a woman president but I feel like misogyny runs even deeper than homophobia in some cases

Exactly. I blame the DNC for allowing this to happen. If they hadn't pushed Bernie out and put a wildly unpopular Clinton in the race...we wouldn't be here. Same with Biden and Harris. They shouldn't have been chosen as candidates and we wouldn't be here.

I won't be flying on a plane for at least 4 years. It's not safe and not worth the risk. If you're taking vacations, do it within driving distance. We have to show them we won't tolerate risking our lives for their nonsense.

The thing is we haven't been able to afford to stock up on anything 😕 We used to, but over the last year we can only afford to buy what we need on a weekly basis.

I feel like growing up that scripture was always weaponized against gay people and "the world" (aka anything secular). I feel like people attack each other with this scripture and use it as a defense on both sides. People decide what is "good" and anyone who disagrees is deceived. It's exhausting 😮💨

How are you supposed to stop buying food...? And don't say a garden because it's just not practical for the average person to produce all of their own food. We don't have the time or the land or the energy. It's idealistic to say everyone can just stop buying anything. Most of us don't have a stash

I wonder if the report function does anything. It was totally useless on FB. I would report the most vile stuff on there and nothing ever resulted from it. Yet once I got censured because I made a comment about "garbage men" (like the workers who pickup trash)

As an American, I am offended for Canadians as well. I really hope Canada retaliates and makes it very very painful for us. Seems to be the only way some people will learn (if at all)

Yep, 18-30 year olds love to not vote 😡😡 They're why we're in this. The older folks get out to the polls come hell or high water. I just don't get it. As soon as I was 18 I registered and voted.

I know several people who feel both sides are equally bad...unsure if they refrained from voting or not. But I definitely blame non voters for sitting on their butts.

Exactly, the average voter has very little accurate information when they make their vote. People that vote red tend to be low information voters. I can excuse people that are truly uneducated, but what blows my mind is the very intelligent people I know who voted for him 🙃

So they can afford an ADDITIONAL $125 BILLION in defense spending, but just have to cut education and agriculture and energy. How about we cut the defense budget in half to make room in the budget for everything else

Then why are Democrats approving the majority of Trump nominations? Why aren't they filibustering everything and making things impossible? Why aren't articles of impeachment being filed? Words are hollow without any action. We are begging our leaders to do more, because you are the ones with power.
