I hate sitting at the front of the bus. You realise just how crap the pedestrian infrastructure is. Here, we have 2 narrow pavements, which fail to meet the councils "absolute minimum pavement width", whilst we have a 3rd lane for traffic to turn right, which is 1 bus every 20 minutes.

Following Storm Éowyn yesterday, we haven't found any damaged trees on CALTON HILL, though some big ones came down in Regent Gardens and Abbeyhill. We did find a lot of upturned litter bins. We are hoping it will be possible to have more robust containers in the future.
