I’m the reminder to be compassionate and kind. Someone’s having a rough day? Take them a cup of coffee and just listen. Neighbor’s spouse got deployed with almost no notice? Have their kids over for a play date so the solo parent gets a break.
In short?
Pay it forward.

As someone who fosters rabbits and had to scrub a lot of pee and poo, it’s absolutely worth putting in the lino.

Have your original plaintiffs been issued their passports since the original injunction? What is being done to force the State Department to comply?

We’ve had a lot of this taking place where we live and it’s been fairly fruitful for both parties

In certain parts of the country, historical reenactment dramas are performed every night all summer long. They educate, entertain, and make certain the locals don’t forget their area’s history.
Hmmmm
Maybe we need a traveling troupe that performs a history of the presidency from 2008-2028

I don’t disagree but even if we stop this right now we won’t be able to put things back the way they were. Millions of dollars have been irresponsibly and illegally given away. Our reputation is trashed. Our workforce is demoralized or fired. Coming back from that will take immense effort.

Thanks for sharing this. I work in the area and myself and may of my colleagues have used these restaurants for business dinners. I just posted this to our company-wide event planning slack. Guess who won’t be getting our business anymore!

Along those lines, if you’ve never heard of “Crap From The Past”, you really should check it out. The radio station that’s been hosting it since 1992 describes it as “a graduate-level course in pop” and they’re not wrong!

Please keep doing this. Please encourage others who are already elected to do this. Our communities need this now more than ever

It’s so hard to have people dismiss you by saying “it’s not that bad”. It is. You put everything into your project. The government told you that your work isn’t of value.
Please try to see that your work IS of value. YOU are of value. This administration does not speak for all of us.

Yowch. Sounds like your contractor owes you an explanation and a refund if you don’t trust them to fix what they did wrong.

Sand in the gears and weaponized ignorance. Give data from 2-4 years ago but specifying the year so that they have to ask for the current year. Use unclear language in reports so they are forced to ask for clarification. Accidentally provide reports in the wrong file format.

A good use for ChatGPT: give it a topic and let it write the letters. No one said it had to be personal, just unique.

I know it’s unethical but I wish that when he gets sick because of this stupidity, every doctor he sees refuses to prescribe the medications that would make him well again. Let’s see how well his body fights off bacteria without modern medicine!

I’ve liked houseplants for ages but have a love/hate relationship with gardening. I love having foliage, fruit, and flowers that smell nice but the work needed to keep them healthy and everything else weeded is beastly. Still, this year I am going to try to get out there and do it anyways.
