Don't let Trump spin you, he backed down on the Mexican tariffs when the market dropped out, GOP electeds finding a backbone to complain, and the WSJ calling it the "dumbest trade war in history". Trump blinked and embarrassed himself plain and simple.

I have it on good authority that Canada is doing their best to target red states with their tariffs and minimize damage to blue states. But, like anyone betrayed, they’re angry and hurt. Other allies are as well. If we make it out the other side of this, we’ll have A LOT of work to do.
