My Dad joined NHS Direct from ICU in the late 90s. They were all experienced clinicians with diverse backgrounds and knowledge, importantly skilled in history taking and triage. Calls began and ended with them with advice or actions. 111's '20 questions and good luck' doesn't compare. So sad.

Truly, language matters. When you describe a sexual assault by the language it would have with consent, you are normalizing, apologizing, and excusing assault. Do not kiss someone who does not want to kiss you. But headlines like this basically remove that aspect and ask you “what’s the big deal?”
