I've had a lovely time in the garden creating a new raised bed from recycled items found in our gardens. #gardening www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EW_... Zero Budget Raised Bed | Free gardening ideas.

Morning all. A bright start to the day. Keep safe & well everyone 😊

Yesterday I visited the Flowers exhibition at The Saatchi Gallery, London. Wow! What a superb display. From traditions oils and acrylic paintings to funky forms that rotated to look like flowers. There were fabrics and wallpapers, jewellery and tattoos and even light displays. #art #flowersinart

I've never listened to an audiobook. I don't know what would be interesting or captivating. Any suggestions? Please share your ideas for a great audiobook to start my experience. #audiobook

It's amazing how quickly we started to love these animals. Indigo (pictured) and Bentley arrived with us at the very end of July and already run the house. Not a day goes by without one of us telling them how special, handsome or lovely they are. #cats #fursday #BritishShorthair #Thursdayvibes

It's been a while since I held one this big! Back in 2018, this two-year-old was my favourite rooster. He was a Jersey Giant, which are known for being friendly and gentle. Although I miss the sound of a rooster crowing, I don't miss being woken up at night by his insistent calls. #chickens

I love making videos, I really do. But some days I overstretch and try to create something clever, entertaining and visually beautiful as well as informative and factually correct. And aiming for excellence in all of those is exhausting. After hours and hours of editing, I need a lie down!

In my latest video, I show how to use recycled materials to make a hanging support for seed trays and seedlings to protect them from slugs, snails and small rodents. #gardening www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzLU...

Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come. ‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair. Here’s to a few drops of respair in 2025.

There are turkey tail fungi growing on the wooden handle of my trowel. It's about three weeks since I last used it. Now I'm wondering whether I just didn't notice it before or has it grown that quickly? #fungi #gardening
