I am a coal miner’s granddaughter and saw first hand the results of mining coal. No one in their right mind wants to do that bleak, dangerous, backbreaking work. As a child, I watched my granddaddy cough up his black lungs. Coal is unnecessary and destructive. We don’t need it.
