Truth. I work with several young people (I'm 60+, so I'm talking up to early 30's) that didn't vote. Yep, that "find out" part is getting here very quickly 🤔
In many parts of the country, those children they pretend to be so concerned about, have never experienced winter like their parents did. Climate change happens slowly, and if young people are not informed, they do not complain... or try to do anything to mitigate it. They might even accelerate it.
When people say they want gov efficient they don't mean getting rid of the smart people. They mean things like NAFTA taking all factories away, layered contractual and legal overburdens slowing progress, legislation kept from vote, loopholes in every way, laws changing every 4 yrs, etc
Imagining a cartoon depicting a couple 10 yo talking in a classroom with one telling the other, "I wish they'd stop talking about fire. It's giving me agita."
I’m going to blow y’all’s minds by introducing you to the concept that hyperbole is not meant to be taken literally. You don’t have to debate climate change timelines: it’s happening.
You wouldn't want to encourage young citizens to enter STEM programs, so they grow up to tackle the most pressing environmental problems that threaten our only habitable planet. It might cause them anxiety, like the anxiety of an 80-year old man who is worried about windmills and not wasting coal!
More fascist propaganda seeking revenge against truth and facts. This is all so frustrating! I guess all we can do is keep the pressure on, try and win all the next elections and reform the executive branch. Finance reform and term limits are probably necessary as well.
Yeah, I golfed with a kid yesterday and he missed a three-foot putt to break 80 for the first time. He said he was a little anxious about climate change.
He builds breakwater piling at his golf course in Scotland to hold back the rising seas but there is no climate change. Funny, insurance companies sure seem to believe in it. Look at your rising premiums due to increased fires, tornadoes, hurricanes
American MSM consumers are among the most ignorant because their primary news sources don't thoroughly cover climate change impact events outside the US. Thus, they have no grasp of the scope of the disaster.
In this technologically advanced world where most people (especially Americans) have access to more information than ever, it is so disappointing that people are still ignorant on these potentially catastrophic issues. Please look past your primary news sources!!!
“Fuck Trump” can’t be said enough in an average day. I look forward to watching many in his base wondering why they can’t afford homeowners insurance in the years to come
The same people “unconcerned” about Earth’s supply of clean water mostly just want to own it, privatize its distribution & charge insane fees for access to it. A friend
Yep. It's all about privatizing the supply of drinking water. And by the way, people can drink faucet water (in most places) instead of paying for faucet water that comes in a plastic bottle.
Is is possible climate anxiety could be from the volatile climate and its multiplier on natural disasters? It seems like that would have the most influence on people's sentiments.
This was the outcome 3rd party voters and and ‘never dems’ chose to risk. With Kamala Harris we would be figuring out how to move forward. Now we can only hope we don’t go too far back.
Business people dont value stuff like this because it's not income generating, that's why Business people can't apply business rules (in general) directly to public policies.
Republicans: why would we look up? That sounds like something one of those evil democrats would do. Followed by begging for government help when their house floods again.
“There’s nothing to worry about here. Seriously, how many of us are going to live until 2050? Why should we worry about something that won’t happen in our lifetimes.”
I’m guessing they don’t teach a room full of 14 and 15 yo.
"One of the most rapid sea level surges on Earth is besieging the American South, forcing a reckoning for coastal communities across eight U.S. states, a Washington Post analysis has found."
Yes pulling all funding from initiatives fighting climate change is doing wonders for my climate anxiety. Knowing definitively that we are all in on letting the world burn is so much better, love it here.
Most people got that movie figured incorrectly. It wasn’t a left or right republican or democrat thing. It was the super rich and the not rich. That’s why they have us attacking each to not notice what they are doing.
Also the trump administration will start pushing coal again.
This election will come at a huge cost to this planet in so many ways. I can't imagine we can recover. But at least our kids will be ignorant and powerless to do anything about it !
I bet multinationals and powerful people aren’t ending their efforts to predict what will happen as a result of climate change in order to make sure they profit from it
Climate change and its corresponding consequences are merely a figment of our imagination according to this administration. Not surprisingly, this same administration has decided that we need to mine more coal...we've gone back about 40 years in no time at all.

They will find out.
#EatTheRich
GOP way of problem solving.
Meanwhile the Science and Climate Scientists are telling us we are hurtling towards a cataclysm that could even trigger extinction level events.
“Oh? How do you know?”
“We’ve canceled all research on it to avoid any data that contradicts our quest for profits at the expense of our environment”
Should we have expected anything less the 2nd time?
Silly me.
😱🫣
National Defense
Economic stability
It's cool though it's just their anxiety
Priorities.
Haha. Silly talk.
Really? You don't think it's the actual children stacked or scraped into body bags that doing the work there?

Money is king and reinsurance capital knows sea levels are rising and weather events are increasing
He was 100% serious.
I despise him.
Somehow the 🐷s wound up in charge. Maybe we should change that?
Billionaires are buying our government. Maybe we should change that?
I suggest by any means necessary, save your planet and save your offspring from 🐷s
