I have donated but a loophole has been found. #nolero @herring1967.bsky.social

Every time I see Octopath Traveller on Gamepass under the ‘relaxing’ category… Oh how I laugh. 🤣

This is gonna be a real nostalgia trip…

youtube.com/watch?v=ty6h... One of my favourite videos to show classes. This helps to explain the ‘New Town’ concept when teaching the Labour Reforms.

A lot of Skinner and Sephiroth dialogue is interchangeable

Today some kids had push pops in class (I’m a high school teacher) and I said ‘right guys put the push pops away it isn’t the 90s!’ And I’ve never felt more ancient. I also had to say, ‘don’t push me, push a push pop!’ Which was met with… pity? youtu.be/4wqp_2Gx87w?...

As a huge Twin peaks fan, I haven’t seen all the Lynch back catalogue. Watched Eraserhead last night and I think having seen The Return, it was less weird than I was expecting as I think I’m more in tune with the Lynchverse. Nance’s acting is top class, such an expressive face!

Thinking about this totally unnecessary but great bit of my cat’s discharge notes. He’s fine - just some investigations for a crusty nose he’s had.

6 music has given me quite the aural experience with Iggy Pop in conversation with Tom Waits. Lots of growls and genuine love for music.

You’re officially old when you have tickets to see a band featured in the identity parade on Never Mind the Buzzcocks… youtu.be/fulTIh3toMQ?...

Never gets old. Such a lovely moment. ⛄️ ❤️

Delighted to see Stuart on this. I have seen several of his shows at the Fringe and his podcast is an excellent view into all things comedy. 👏

It’s like when everyone used to get excited for the primary school Christmas dinner and it was worse than the usual stuff they served.

Watching DS9 for the first time has been a wild ride. Right in the thick of it now after S7E22 and after sticking through a lull in season 6 I was treated to much Vic Fontaine and some great Garak and Martok as the final season got going. They even did a great job of establishing Ezri.

One for the algorithm. My cat Yossarian, standing with my Switch and the PS5 loading screen. I’m about the play Dragon Age Veilguard which I’m currently unsure of but I’m sure it’ll grow on me!

Just joined and lots of my feed is RPG related. Went to see the RSNO perform Final Symphony and it was just incredible. Obviously I have a personal connection to the songs but it was an impressive night in its own right. The pianist was 👌
