Go back to Twitter where you belong, you bigoted dipshit. šš

Worse is that it's a UK actress trying to do an American accent.
Except this is no Xenoblade Chronicles or Elden Ring.

And like, I get it is not all the fans doing this, though it is incredibly ironic that the very ones who are angry over mild criticism are among the same ones engaging in legitimately sociopathic behaviors.

The current state of the fandom is that they insist that mildly criticizing someone for scabbing is just too far, but it is apparently perfectly acceptable to harass voice actors for months, wish death upon random fans for supporting the VAs, send revenge porn to the VAs, and even send them threats.

It is incredibly ironic that Natlan's moral theme was about communal solidarity and resilience, yet now is the time that Hoyoverse decided to engage in strikebreaking and that the community went anti-union.

You have people brigading these voice actors for months now, calling people slurs, and even wishing death upon those who support the voice actors. You even have fans sending messages like these to voice actors for criticizing Jacob (which gratefully, Jacob denounced).
comment in response to

There is a serious pattern of vicious hatred and harassment being directed towards these VAs, and they are not remotely proportional to the original criticisms themselves. The voice actors are not the problem here; the fans are.

Corina literally defended Jacob. Where did they send dead threats at him? And are you suggesting that Erika promoted death threats? Because I myself have received comments like these from Hoyoverse fans just for supporting the VAs.

Hoyoverse has already announced their plans to mass expand AI in the future. Their plans for AI were already there to begin with. But I seriously hope you are not going to defend Hoyoverse in all this.

And we don't know if she cut ties with Chris or not.
But there's no reason to be petty about this.

Just like how you're making excuses like using a 4-year old tweet to just spit on her.
And it seems you're a jobless person who had no clue of how unions work. š

And if you're just focusing on her tweet just 4 years ago, it seems you have no idea if she cut ties from him or not.
That, son, is what we call being petty. š

Itās because itās shite. She was using his own tweets to shut up people who kept drumming up a fake narrative and then the public got mad that their angle was debunked. She wasnāt contacting banks or pulling up government records. Itās hyperbole
comment in response to

The other VAs didnāt frame it as a passing of the torch like it was consensual. The others knew what they were doing and shut up. Where as he showed how little of a shit he cared about fellow actors.
And again, criticism isnāt harassment. Thatās being a baby

Corina even said themselves that they were scabbing and deserved no praise. Itās not a gotcha when they agree with you

Thereās absolutely a reason why a group of marginalised women got an endless brunt of abuse compared to men. The internet hates when women show any form of emotion or frustration so itās an excuse to endlessly attack and he did fuck all.

When countless people argued that his scabbing is fine because heās a starving actor trying to provide for his family. Using his own tweets to debunk the narrative is justifiable when heās not a career VA but a wealthy engineer who switched jobs on a whim.
Itās not like she was contacting the govā

Did I say I was fine with Corina scabbing? I understood āwhyā they were but thatās not excusing it or deeming it acceptable. Youāre the one whoās saying that.
comment in response to

Iām sorry but your argument is complete shite. Itās like getting mad at people and at the same time saying you donāt know who they are.
He was tacky, didnāt apologise, dipped, didnāt speak up against harassment for months, tried to curry favour by going on podcasts. He sucks.

Candice VA quit. The rest were recasted like every other recast because Hoyo wanted a VA whoād accept the terms they offered. Thereās no evidence their behaviour was a factor, other than wish fulfilment
comment in response to

Candaceās VA has no power to blacklist, lol. Itās that SAG blacklists scabs in general, thatās how strikes and unions work, you donāt work with scabs. Framing it like She had any power to threaten is disingenuous
comment in response to

Putting out a statement at all when youāre scabbing is actually classless. Itās even worse when you are told why and you donāt take it down or apologise but instead shrug and not care at all. Heās not a colleague
comment in response to

She canāt make a threat that she canāt act upon. Saying how every SAG and other union strike reacts to scabs is not a threat, itās a statement of fact.
Itās just that people some reason feel Jacob needs to be babied

One tweet only referring to death threats in the span of months is not absolution. We can disagree without accusing the other of lying. They also didnāt mention him for months and yet it persisted.

For the record, āI never onceā is not in reference to this conversation, Iām talking generally overall. As Iāve had people coming at me for months over this because I didnāt agree with the hate mob.
comment in response to

The fact is, I never once said that the VAs in question were faultless. I didnāt agree with their candour but I understood why they felt so frustrated by it. The way people continued to latch on though, would never happen if the roles were reversed

And SAG-AFTRA is one of the reasons why their members are not paid PENNIES just for their voice work.
Those who complained about a union's high membership fee are those who glaze on JP voice actors, claiming that they were highly paid for most of them are celebrities. š
comment in response to

Criticising his classless post isnāt cyber bullying. One of them literally only posted āšššā and was endlessly harassed to this day.
When the harassment is massively one sided against marginalised women and you say nothing when itās in your name, youāre a twat.

Sucrose/Paimon/Keqing/HuTao/Candice/Xiao VAs
He followed multiple American VAs who were talking about the strike for months, claims to be a VA himself yet had no idea of the biggest thing in ENās industry? Nah
It was definitely not a reference to the story, lol. Thatās just crap
comment in response to

āOnly union members are bound to a strikeā is textbook scab tactics. It happens in every industry for centuries.
Crossing the picket line makes you a scab. The hand wringing ppl did to defend him because they donāt like mute characters was pathetic
