i think this is a genuinely good point. perhaps, for fascists, the point of war and what ‘winning’ even means is completely separate from the realities on the ground. what if they think the point of war is pageantry?

looks like musk is crashing the government in order to try and sell his techno-utopia pseudo government. musk is the bank, cryptocurrencies only, and otherwise its the law of the jungle. i dont think he comprehends he will personally be blamed for much of the ‘temporary’ pain.

While we don't have the psychological traits of respondents, my hunch is a lot of these patterns can be explained by the famous result from Tetlock's Expert Political Judgement: "hedgehogs" who know one big thing perform worse than "foxes" who draw on a range of ideas/paradigms.
