The person I was arguing with talked about used clubs and some magic places where a mini course is $25 in the weekend.
I could argue that a used PlayStation and some old games is basically a free hobby then.

Ok there is no where near me that I can get a round that cheap but video game prices are the same everywhere.
Again though, two two three rounds of golf is the price of one game. So if you play the game more than 15 hours you're coming out ahead.

How can you do it cheaply? A round of golf on the weekend at a public course near me is no less than $70. Just for a round before you include clubs, balls, clothes etc.
So you're looking at say $20 an hour.
A good video game will be a fraction of that.
