There are several groups in Anchorage calling for protests (Indivisible, 50501, Stand UP Alaska) and posting on social media but they need to be better coordinated so you and others know of them.

Here are more Alaskans protesting in front of City Hall in Anchorage. You can't see the other crowds protesting across the street, in midtown, and in front of the senators' offices.

I don't think this will happen but it's a frightening scenario: Canadian airspace and the Inside Passage gets closed. Alaska does not produce enough of its own food. Who will help us then? China? Russia? Japan?

Canada has another play on the West Coast that could bring a great deal of pressure on Alaska and Washington State by simply revoking access to the inside passage and restricting access through Yukon and British Columbia roads. Resource rich Alaska raw materials goods and equipment go both ways
