Ooo I love him too <3
He has a lot of good information and love his perspective on norse animism. While working at an old job I used to have his videos on repeat in my earpiece.
I noticed you shared Ryan Smith’s book too :) We are also twinsy with that. 🤣🤣

Unfortunately there is a lot of bad information out there, but this is your path and huge hats off for taking control of it. :)
Is there a way to PM on here?

<3 I’m so glad you like them. Hollander is very poetic indeed. I feel very similar though 🤭 Sometimes I sit there at some translations going “That’s so pretty, but what the bloody hel are they talking about?” 🤣🤣

How about yourself?
Everyone’s path is unique and everyone has their own perspective, that is what makes us all beautiful xx
It’s sharing our perspectives that allow us to dive deeper in to knowledge :)

I see it more as a great way to show Oðinn’s personality and certain aspects.
Personally, I would not use as a direct guide to life, due to context of the time, although it does have some great advice.
I do think it does bring up excellent points about using runes and the sacrifice they require.

Larrington has a really good translation, in my opinion, and it’s my favourite. I even carry it with me.
I really love Crawford’s too, and find them both a lot easier to read. Some translators attempt to make the text look older than it is which is a nice style but pain in the butt to read 😆😆
