Government is just community on a large scale. And people are cheering its downfall. So many of you come from a culture of no community. You donā€™t like yourselves nor one another and especially not people different from you. The rise of hate is just proof of this truth. And itā€™s happening everywhere

ā€œReal power lives in the granular. [ā€¦] Itā€™s in the tools and knowledge you share without waiting for permission or platforms. Small actions, multiplied by consistency, backed by a commitment to a specific place and specific people.ā€ -Joan Westenberg

It should be a source of profound embarrassment that a bunch of FedSoc lifers are taking a more vocal and principled stand against the corrupt Eric Adams deal than most elected Dems.

every day I think about the comms strategy of the korean opposition party in the wake of the coup and I get so burningly resentful that other countries have legislators who are awake

Khalil Greene sums it up nicely. ā€œKendrick Lamar isnā€™t just a rapper. Heā€™s a Pulitzer Prize-winning storyteller known for his sharp lyricism, layered metaphors, and deep social commentary.ā€

This is an economic Coup d'etat. Don't be afraid to say that in your communities and to your family members etc... This is what's unfolding.

Iā€™m seeing these posts about illegality and whatnot. Yes, we know itā€™s illegal what Musk has done. Yes, we know itā€™s a violation of the Constitutionā€”and yet, itā€™s still happening so what now? These rules of civility arenā€™t working. Now what?

Reporters: Please stop calling things DEI that are not DEI. This is only cementing the propaganda being used to legitimize the dismantling of all types of initiatives that are not DEI as well as legitimize efforts to end civil rights enforcement. Be specific with your language. Be accurate.

I see so many people are down right now. I get it. Shit is bad. AND also bad news is not the only news. I hope more people internalize this.

In 2020, it became apparent that a lot of people had been asleep in science class. Well, in 2025, itā€™s become quite apparent that they slept through history class, too. #Resist

ā€œOn 2/27/33, the German parliament building was set on fire. The govt falsely portrayed it as part of an effort to overthrow the state. They soon passed a decree, "For the Defense of the Nation and State," which removed civil liberties & made it possible to imprison anyone who opposed their rule.ā€

It merely rhymesā€¦

Itā€™s mostly white people who talk about echo chambers. Maybe you need the internet to meet people with different ideas but the rest of us do not. We know what the ā€œother sideā€ thinks because we deal with it every day! Everywhere! Weā€™re fine. Carry on. Happy Saturday!

Never forget this: The GOPā€™s nonsensical culture war is meant to distract you from corporate corruption, worker oppression, and staggering wealth inequality.

Don't just condemn bad Trump nominees. Tie them to the entire party. Don't just say Gaetz is a bad choice. Say Republicans allow Gaetz to be a nominee. If Republicans can link every random college kid to Democrats, the least we can do is hold the entire party accountable for what their leaders do.

Good troubleā€¦ ā€œThe kiddos end up doing a lot of STEAM type projects a lot of community projects, art projects, projects based on science and learning about the way the world works, said Everett.ā€ wcyb.com/news/local/s...

I hope they bring here the only good thing left on Twitter: community notes.

This is the little ray of sunshine I didnā€™t know I needed todayā€¦ apnews.com/article/onio...

Beshear knows intuitively what so few Dems grasp. You can take political decisions that are politically controversial, and even SHOULD, if it fits in your value set. Voters prefer candidates who are genuine and are more willing to forgive positions than lack of sincerity.

Governor Andy Beshear, in a Trump +30 state, gives advice to Democrats: Do not throw LGBTQ+ people under the bus, it will not work. His advice to dems: Lead on your values. This man ran on a fully inclusive campaign in 2023 and won. He received the same kind of ads Harris did.
