Turns out Pope Francis died just a few hours after this 17 mn encounter. How very strange.

Now that the pope is dead, this meme is far less funny.

The pope neither.

Absolutely. This alone proves that pope Francis made the right call.
Next time the pope should offer him the opportunity to repent and confess.
And STFU after that.

As a retaliation for this humiliation, surely Trumpy is going to slap the Vatican with a 245% tariff on wax candles.🤡

Alright, in the end, does it really matter ?
What matters is, due process hasn't been given. This is deeply unamerican. If the US is a country of rule of law, then the first entity that must follow the law is the government. Else it's just another dictatorship.

Also are we sure that she is the one who covered his hand with hearts and not some dumbass far right faker ? They are used to fake photos like that, so I need the original Instagram account.

She covered his right hand, his left hand is NOT tattooed, and the photo shown by Trump is clearly a LEFT hand.
How do you explain this ?

otoh, she can only blame herself for having accepted to meet him. Remember she is also largely far right and said she shared anti "woke" "values" with him.
If she is now having regrets, it's her fault.

Huawei is PRODUCING routers in France, you think the French don't care about security ? No, the French do care about it as much as the Americans, but they found no backdoors either, and they don't have fake reports ordered by US Congress in order to ban it from the EU market.
comment in response to
post
... for the public at large that doesn't know these details in order to justify the banning of a very successful chinese competitor on the US market. They've been doing the same with TikTok, and other chinese brands on behalf of their US competitors. It's just market ban and nothing else.
comment in response to

When vulnerabilities are found, they are publicly disclosed so that their clients are aware and patch their routers in order to close them. That's common practice in the entire industry. So there is nothing outstanding there, the only thing outstanding is the use of this as an attack talking point
comment in response to
post
Yeah, you don't understand a single thing you read obviously. Americans banning chinese products for "national security" reasons is totally phony. The only large scale spying by chinese, called Salt Typhoon, was done on AMERICAN telephone infrastructure using NSA backdoors. 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡
comment in response to
post
If you knew what you're talking about, these were NOT backdoors, these were vulnerabilities. Vulnerabilities are found on all routers, in common langauge it's called "bugs".
I've been following the security community for years and no backdoors have been found whatsoever.

Just look at this website: selectcommitteeontheccp.house.gov
It's 200% red scare style propaganda by a "select committee" of total clowns. We would think it's a comedy movie if it wasn't real.
These people are wanking each other in anti China paranoia. There is nothing real and rationnal in this.

"credible prior examples of espionage amongst Chinese students and faculty"
My ass. How naive. That's typical 100% US bullshit. Ther is absolutely nothing credible in these accusations.
I bet you still believe Huawei routers had backdoors (they didn't).

As a french, I don't understand why journalists are willing to participate in this travesty. This is informing noone, there is absolutely nothing of value coming out of these "conversations". At least, when there are only sycophants, people see this propaganda exercise as what it is.
