There are multiple non-amazon companies making & shipping 95s/94s that are not cost prohibitive.
A lot of pharmacies (esp chain pharmacies like CVS, and Walmart) carry them too.
Here's a site that aggregated reliable mask suppliers (they used to straight up sell em but now just link):

Analysts at Swiss Re (one of the largest reinsurers in the life insurance industry, with huge financial incentives to get this right) estimated that current COVID policies will see excess deaths of ~3% in the US and ~2.5% in the UK for at least the next decade.

Yes. People don’t realize how *much* they can lose and are closer to losing now than ever.
Take your salary, imagine 2+ years worth, and set it on fire. 🔥
Add endless medical bills. And no recovery in sight. That’s the cost of no protection.

"Incubation times can vary a lot, from 24 hours to 14 days, which is why I must be very careful around people that aren’t aware of their exposures to covid or don’t mask."

"If no other option exists, we can use a rapid test (RAT). It's more accurate by first swabbing the back of your throat, your cheeks, and your nose."

"The tests we can buy from the pharmacy have not been updated for the latest covid strains, & research shows that they are missing a lot of infections. PCR tests like Metrix, Pluslife, or Lucira are much more accurate though unfortunately much more expensive."

"I mask even if RAT (rapid tests) test is negative because these tests typically aren’t sensitive enough to pick up asymptomatic or presymptomatic cases, which account for the majority of covid infections."

"Covid can linger in the air for hours, especially in the winter time. That’s why I choose to mask up indoors even if I’m not near another person."

"Research shows that covid spreads primarily through aerosols, meaning the air we breathe. This is why masking with a high quality respirator is much more important than washing hands and sanitizing surfaces."

"Asymptomatic transmission is responsible for over 50% of covid infections, which means even if you aren’t showing symptoms, you can still pass covid around. This is why I mask regardless of the symptoms of others."

"I avoid sharing indoor air with people who aren’t in my immediate safe circle (my circle is covid cautious). I wear a high quality respirator when I must share the air w/ others unless those people have passed a covid PCR test. "

2nd, how we avoid infection:
"I must follow the same precautions that we all followed in 2020 due to my health.
(because anyone alive in 2020 has already had the experience of taking precautions, so it's not something NEW to learn"

"Research shows that repeat covid infections increase the risk of diabetes, cancer, heart disease, stroke, infertility, & much more. It’s important to me to preserve my health & those I love."

1st, why longhaulers avoid infection:
"As a covid longhauler, I’m especially vulnerable to infections. A Covid reinfection, or any viral infection can worsen my symptoms that I’ve been working so hard to get under control for <amount of time>."

That’s great news! It’s so hard to find providers who even consider MCAS to be real. So many respond that it’s “too rare” to be this widespread 💔. Ignoring the unprecedented pandemic we are experiencing 🙄.

If someone asks you why you are wearing a mask, remember what I always say:
Even if it IS just a cold, I DON'T WANT THAT EITHER.
