PROUD AND GRATEFUL FOR OUR GOVERNOR
comment in response to post
Much to my dismay I have read over the past couple of hours that this is not actually a done deal.

Obviously I'm not an expert in legal matters. But what I'm getting from what you're saying here is basically we're probably fucked?

I'm far from an expert on legal matters but now I'm reading that this is not a done deal? That it's extremely complicated and we might not win this particular issue in the courts?

I haven't watched any of this crap series from the very beginning. Nor the movies. I still feel sick after watching the first movie! I'm not going to make myself sick by watching the series. Disgusting deterioration. Sarah Jessica Parker needs to retire. Pathetic. And everyone involved in the series

From Peter Coyote, Zen priest. I can't link to the entire statement here, so if anyone's interested you can Google it. Really profound, what he has to say. Blessed Be.

Arizona has work requirements for Medicaid. It causes a great deal of suffering to people that I know.

We were reassured that LAPD would respond to assist when other law enforcement were being attacked. Is that the case? Some are saying LAPD is brutalizing peaceful protesters. I'm not accusing, because I'm not there. But I would like to know the truth.

Is this lapd? Or is it national guard?

I am so very very very heartbroken. When the January 6th insurrection happened I knew in every fiber of my being that everything was broken.

We had NO RIGHT to bring our children into this hell world . We have NO RIGHT to burden them with correcting our fucking mistakes.

I understand what you're saying. But I'm 66 years old and I've seen my share of protests and Direct action. The fact is, there are people who do not know how to peacefully resist, protest, or engage in direct action. People need to be trained. That's the bottom line.

People need to remember Martin Luther King and Mahatma gandhi, those are just two examples. Non-violent civil disobedience is the way. Nonviolent Direct action. Non-violent protesting. I'm watching some of the footage and people are provoking law enforcement! THIS IS NOT THE WAY.
comment in response to post
People! You need to learn about nonviolent civil disobedience. Those of us who participated in protests decades ago learned this. Provoking law enforcement is not the way! It's counterproductive!
comment in response to post
So grateful for you
comment in response to post
People need to learn how to participate in non-violent civil disobedience. Extremely important.
comment in response to post
I'm in my 60s. I remember when anyone who was involved in any kind of action, underwent rigorous training in non-violent civil disobedience. That is what is needed in these situations! People need to know what to do!
