We can’t even afford to wait until the midterms! Can you believe this monster hasn’t even been in office 100 days yet and has done this much damage?

To anyone else reading this, here’s where you block this guy, if you haven’t already. I come to BlueSky to get away from assholes like him.

Hyper-racist Sebastian Motherf***ing Gorka is in this administration from hell? What am I saying? Of f***ing COURSE he is! If Satan himself walked the Earth, Trump would put him in the cabinet, and the Evangelicals would still vote for him.

And as far as the US “not being a charity”: study after study has found immigrants, legal and otherwise, to be a net benefit to our economy. They work hard, they pay taxes, and the “illegals” don’t collect any benefits.

“We can’t open our borders to everyone!” Why not? We used to. That’s what Ellis Island was about. The only reason to close the border is if you don’t like the kind of people coming across, and why would that be?

Your cat is worried about you. Everyone knows you’re at your most vulnerable when pooping. Wouldn’t want you taken by a predator!

Healthy people don’t get autism and die. The same cannot be said of measles. I will take my chances with a vaccine, thank you.

Yeah, but kids loved it. It hit the right buttons. She got published because a publisher took the manuscript home. His young daughter found it, read the whole thing in one sitting and asked him if there was more. No adult ever accepted it.

If I understand correctly, John Oliver said on his show that trans women have little to no advantage over cis women in sports. JKR is accusing him of being “anti-woman”.

When I take a call, I grip the phone in such a way that my fingers stick out a little. My fingers touch my head, but not the phone. I do it this way so as not to get face grease on the screen.

These things are troopers. I was gifted one as a housewarming present 2 1/2 years ago. I do not have a green thumb, yet it is still going strong. Cup of water every week has been enough. I don’t even have a window with direct sunlight for it.

Some journalist once referred to 4chan as “the place the internet goes to throw up after a bad night”. And that was long ago, when the site was stupid and disgusting but still relatively harmless.

Read the Wikipedia entry on “monarch butterfly migration”. Amazing fact: it takes 3 generations of butterflies to fly from Mexico to Maine, but just one to fly back. The southbound butterflies are adapted to live eight times as long as their northbound parents.

What I can’t get is how a butterfly, fluttering along at its butterfly pace, can possibly fly that distance. I have to get out my calculator to prove that it’s indeed possible.

It’s right there in the euphemistic name. “It’s not a prison. This isn’t a punishment. We’re just ‘concentrating’ certain groups into one place.” (Add “for their own safety” for the full kick.)

I’m as pro-democracy as they come, but when I think of how uninformed, misinformed, and short-memoried the average American voter is, it really tests my faith. Engaged voters would never have elected this guy.

Corporations didn’t do DEI out of the goodness of their hearts. They don’t have hearts and they aren’t good. Adopting DEI was about attracting business. Dropping it was idiotic. Of course they’re losing customers.

Republicans treat the Constitution the same way Evangelicals treat the Bible. They pick the parts they like and loudly declare that they are sacred, while ignoring the rest.

If (god forbid) this becomes law and the Supreme Court does not strike it down 9-0, we’ll know once and for all which justices don’t give a flying damn about the Constitution.

Right. My problem is groups that say "This part of the Bible is THE WORD OF GOD and must be obeyed on pain of hellfire! This other part? We're gonna pretend it doesn't exist." It's okay to pick and choose which parts speak to you. It's claiming the Bible as an authority where I have an issue.
