People ask me "why don't I ever see owls", I reply owls are the masters of disguise. Well, this Long-eared Owl was perched totally out in the open, right next to a very busy path. I counted 25 people who walked right by it and never even saw it. No wonder they don't see one hiding in a tree! #birds
